𝑻he first thing you did the morning you woke up was call your sister.

She didn't pick up at first but after a few tries you could finally hear her voice.

"Y/n?" She sounded confused. At least she wasn't hurt.

You took a deep breath, the realization hitting you, that she was indeed safe and alright.

"Chiyo." You honestly didn't even know what to say. It was like something was blocking your throath that didn't let any words escape.

"Do you care to explain anything to me?" Chiyo was calm, but you could tell her patience ran thin.

"Listen. I made a deal okay? Those people, Bonten, they can heal your legs. They can bring us both out of poverty. No more problems. You will be able to attent school just like any other person."

A single tear ran over your cheek. Maybe you hadn't realized it earlier, but the contract you made could finally free Chiyo from all the negative things in her live.

The silence on the other line was loud. "Chiyo?"

"At what cost?" You walked around your new apartment irritated.

"What do you mean? Why is it important?"

She scoffed. "Why it's important you're asking? Y/n, nobody would give us all of this for free! What did you have to do in exchange?"

You didn't answer. Why was it necessary for her to know all those things? Couldn't she just be happy that everything was settled?

"Y/n, answer me! You mentioned Bonten, right? How could you be so naive to make a deal with Bonten?! Are you out of your mind?"

"Me? Out of my mind? All my life we've been suffering! I've been doing the best I've could to make life as enjoyable as possible for you and this is the thanks I get?!"

Rage filled your body.

"Y/n-" You cut her off.

"No! Why does it matter what I have to do in exchange? Can't you just be happy that you're getting proper treatment now?"

You couldn't believe it. After everything you've done, after everything you've sacrificed for Chiyo this is her reaction to all of this?

A male voice was heard on the other line and all you could hear after that was the repetitive beeping coming from your new phone that you've gotten from Takeomi.

What a great way to start the day, you thought to yourself.

Deciding to not think about your conversation with Chiyo any further you called another number instead.

After a few rings he picked up.

"Do ya know how damn early it is?" Sanzu grumbled through the speaker.

You rolled your eyes. "It's around 9 am, Sanzu. If you wouldn't party all night, pumping your body full with drugs and what not, maybe you'd have a normal sleep schedule."

The pinkette groaned at your harsh words.

"My sleep schedule is none of ya business. What do ya want?"

The sleep still prominent in his voice made him sound like a child. A chuckle escaped you at the thought.

"We need to meet. I want to discuss something important."

You could hear him scream and a loud thud following after. "Fuck." You couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

"Be here in 1 hour." You hang up without awaiting his answer.

It still sucked not knowing where the hideout was. They could've at least give you so much information.

Getting ready you started forgetting completely about Chiyo but instead focused on your little brunch with Bonten's number 2.

After a while you heard an unfamiliar noice coming from your apartment. You assumed it was the bell.

It was a harsh and short tone that you definitely need to get used to.

You didn't answer the door. You knew Sanzu was waiting downstairs, so you just went there instead.

The elevator took about 3 minutes and you were greeted by the sight of Sanzu in a lavender stripe suit, as usual.

He didn't look like he sounded on the phone. A loopsided smile was forming on his lips as you approached.

His hands were tucked in his pants that were similar to his suit and his hair looked like it was as soft as cotton.

You felt your fingers twitch with the need to touch it as you came closer.

"Morning, beautiful. It was wonderful hearing your voice first thing in the morning," he gushed with a fake tone laced in his voice.

"Yeah sure." You eyed him briefly before looking back into his piercing blue eyes.

"So, what'd ya want to discuss with me?" He rose his left eyebrow.

"My next job. What's it gonna be?" The first task you got was rather easy.

Calling Manjiro, Mikey, you didn't know what was going on inside his head while he said that.

Sanzu grinned at your question. "Well, since Takeomi already settled everything concerning your job at Satellite and your drug job, there's not much to do."

He grabbed his chin in a thinking manner before opening his mouth once again.

"Rindou still needs to collect someone's debt. How about you go assist him, seeing how the job is done?" Sanzu tilted his head.

You thought about it for a second. Rindou really wasn't the nicest person but you'll need to work with him from now on, so you had no choice.

"How much will I get?" Sanzu let out a hearty laugh.

"You're funny," he said after wiping imaginary tears from his eyes.

"I don't know sweety. Do I look like I handle money? Fuck no. Go ask or Kokonoi or Rindou himself."

Sanzu was already ready to turn back and leave.

"What a douchebag," you mumbled in defeat.

Once Sanzu was out of sight you texted Rindou, saying that you'll be helping him in collecting the debts.

His reply was short but you didn't mind. You hoped to have as little interaction with him as possible.

After having the location send you made your way to him, not knowing what was awaiting you.
