11. 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞

Me and Hyunjae waited outside eating our ice cream while Juyeon paid and still had to make his ramyeon. We sat in the same table we sit at everytime we met here.

"Thank You", I said.

"Huh?", Hyunjae asked even though he looked like he knew but just wanted to hear a compliment.

"Just everything...You really helped me. If you didn't come to the rooftop, I probably would still be in the hospital right now. Thank you...for comforting me and for protecting me.", I said and then looked somewhere else because I was embarrased. He patted my head and smiled.

"When is Juyeon coming?", I said to break the silence.

"He's probably still figuring out how make his ramyeon."

Chan's disciplinary almost took a month to finish but luckily and as expected, he was expelled and his parents are sending him abroad. Finally, I can breathe.

But, other than that, Younghoon has been extra strict and even warned his friends not to hang out with me too much, including Hyunjae. He basically gave me a dating ban until I finish my studies. I mean I do understand, because after all that happened, our midterm rankings were out and my rank has dropped. Juyeon took my place in the top and I now became 3rd in our batch which means I had to catch up. Just like that, I was able to catch up and enjoy the rest of my junior year in high school.

*1 year later*

After Younghoon and Hyunjae graduated, me, Juyeon, Sunwoo, and Eric were left in high school. Hoyoung debuted in a group called VERIVERY (a/n: yes these talented babies, go stan them) so he didn't really come to school everyday and besides, we were also busy preparing for college.

And at last!! College came. Me and Juyeon passed the same school we applied for so we decided to go for it. On top of that, it was also the same college Younghoon and Hyunjae were attending. I met new friends through Juyeon. Ji Changmin and Choi Chanhee! Introduced them to the rest of the boyz and these two clicked right away with them especially with Sunwoo.

It was just another day and as I was peacefully asleep until someone suddenly shouted.

"KIM YEONWOO!! WAKE UP!!", Juyeon who knew the password to our house came in without permission.

"My first class starts at 10am. It's still early! Wake me up at 9.", I whined as I didn't wanna get ouy of bed.

"IT'S 9:30!!!", Juyeon shouted.

"WHAT?!?!?!? Why didn't you tell me!?", I hurriedly ran out of bed and immediately got ready. I got out of my room and noticed there was not only 1 but three people in the living room. Younghoon and Sunwoo already left earlier.

"Mwoya!? You two were also here?", I was shocked to see my two other friends waiting.

"ahhh~ make it fast~ we're late!", Changmin said.

"You're not eating?", Juyeon asked.

"I'll just eat after class."

"Here...", Juyeon handed me a sandwich in a ziploc.

"Huh?"

"Just take it!", Juyeon said.

"You two really look like a couple.", Chanhee said and I rolled my eyes.

"Why don't you just date one of my brothers?", I teased Chanhee.

"Shut Up!", he said.

We arrived at the lecture hall on time and was assigned to do a project done by pairs.

"Juyeon-ah! Can you pair up with me!", I asked.

"Yeah sure! Let's start later at my house. I promised to treat Hyunjae hyung lunch so you guys go first", he said.

"Okay! See you later then!", I said and waved my hand goodbye to him.

"Yeonwoo-yah. What do you think of Juyeon?", Chanhee asked.

"Stop it or i'll let the squirrel beside me bite you!", I said.

"Squirrel? Where?", Changmin said with excitement not knowing I was referring to him.

"What do you guys wanna eat?", I asked.

"Will you buy for us?", Chanhee asked.

"Only for today...I feel kinda good."

"Steak!"

"Tteokbokki!"

"Wow...I really can't trust you two with lunch. What about pasta in a nearby cafe? then let's buy ice cream after?", I asked.

"Okay!!", both of them agreed and so we went to eat lunch.

We went to the nearby cafe I was talking about and I was suprised to see 3 familiar people sitting in one table. Bermuda...Juyeon, Hyunjae, Younghoon. So we approaced them and asked Juyeon if he was willing to buy us lunch too.

"Are you crazy? I'm a student too...a broke one.", He said.
