Hyunjae's POV
My parents came home from Canada to visit and they stayed at our house. They offered me to stay with them while they were here but I couldn't because of school so I continued staying at Sangyeon and Juyeon's. Instead, they invited me for lunch at home so I got to taste my mother's cooking, that I sure did miss.
"So how have you been doing?", my dad asked in his usual casual and friendly tone with me.
"Oh i've been good, just busy from time to time with school projects.", I answered.
"Our son has grown so much. I feel sorry for not being there. I promise we'll visit more often from now on.", mother said with a sorry face.
"It's okay, mom! I'm doing well here. I know you guys are busy working in Canada just make sure you don't forget you have a son here.", I reassured them and they giggled at my statement.
"I was thinking you could invite Sangyeon, Younghoon, Juyeon and all your friends here. We wanted to thank them for being with you. Maybe having a sleepover would be good to keep us company.", my mother said.
"Everyone's busy this week 'cause of school. Is next week okay?", I asked them and they both nodded.
"Do you have a girlfriend?", my father suddenly brought up and I smiled at the thought of Yeonwoo.
"There is a girlfriend. When are you introducing her to us?", my mother asked.
"Later. I'm not sure if she's ready to meet you guys so i'll let you meet her when she is.", I said with a big smile, excited for the time I get to let them know about the one I love.
"Our son sure is in love. Getting all giddy at the thought of his girlfriend. Treat her right! She looks like a good one seeing by the way your smiling.", my father said.
"She is. I'm sure you'll like her.", I said.
*Time Skip*
A week later and I've invited all my friends to our house. Yes, with Yeonwoo, who they don't know is actually my girlfriend yet. They all got excited, including Chanhee, Changmin, Haknyeon and Hyerim who were meeting my parents for the first time.
"Is your house big? Does it have a basement where there are dolls kept in the dark?", Changmin asked.
"Yah! Ji Changmin, Shut Up!", Chanhee exclaimed
"I want to know where Hyunjae hyung's looks and brains came from!", Haknyeon said.
"Guys, let's calm down.", Hyerim said, hoping the calmness in her tone would reach the others. We soon arrived at my parents' house.
" Mom! Dad! We're here!", I shouted and they immediately came to the door, gasping after seeing how many we were.
"Wah~ I forgot how you mentioned you gained friends.", my father exclaimed and then proceeded to bro hug Younghoon, Sangyeon, Juyeon, Eric, Sunwoo, Kevin, and Jacob as he hadn't seen them in a long time.
"My nephews~ Sangyeon, Juyeon~", my mother said and hugged the two. My mother then gasped as she saw the Kim siblings.
"Yeonwoo! You're so big and beautiful now. You're parents told us to check on you three while we were here. You're all grown ups.", my mother said while caressing Yeonwoo's shoulder. They both hugged and I wanted to melt right at the sight of them two interacting.
"They'd be so happy to know Yeonwoo's the girl i've been talking about.", I smiled to myself at the thought.
"This one's Changmin, Chanhee, and Hyerim, I met them through Juyeon and Yeonwoo, and Haknyeon, through Sumwoo and Eric.", I introduced, pointing at them one by one. They then bowed to show respect and greeted my parents.
"I'm really thankful to have so much people around my son. Jaehyun-ah, show them around the house while I make dinner or you could play at the living room.", my mother said.
I toured them around the house, showing where the bathrooms were, the library, the small gym, the balcony, the kitchen, and the rooms that some would be staying in. There were 3 guests rooms so of course we gave the 2 to Yeonwoo and Hyerim while the rest had to play rock paper scissors to pick 2 who would stay in the last guest room and one with me. Sunwoo and Jacob won the guest room while Juyeon was picked to stay with me in my room. Everyone then settled their things and went to the living room to play some video games.
Everyone was suprised at how Hyerim and Changmin was so good at playing while I noticed from the corner of my eye that Yeonwoo was heading towards the kitchen. I then followed her out of curiosity. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of her offering help to my mother, who was cooking.
"I never knew Yeonwoo was such a wife material.", I felt so giddy inside just by the sight of them together.
"You do know you're being to obvious with how you're looking at them right now, Hyung.", someone whispered by my ear and my eyes widened as I looked to my side only to see Sunwoo who looked at me with squinted eyes.
"A-ah! W-what do you mean? I just missed seeing my mother cook!", I whispered loudly.
"Liar. You think I didn't see you when your mother was hugging noona a while back. Noona's been weird these past few weeks too. It feels like she's been dating.", Sunwoo then looked at Yeonwoo then back at me.
"Aish..curse Sunwoo and his witty self", I thought to myself. I then took a deep breathe and said...
"Keep it a secret!", I whispered loudly while pressing my index finger in the middle of my lips with desperate eyes. Sunwoo smirked and nodded.
"What are you going to do for me?", he said.
"What can I do for you??", I asked and he laughed.
