Hyunjae's POV

I drove to the place where we usually go to. A place that only WE know of. A place where'd we see the sunset. And a place where we get comforted by each other's presence. As soon as I saw Yeonwoo sitting by the sand while drinking a can of beer in broad daylight, I immediately approached her with the intention to comfort her once again with my presence.

"Yeonwoo-yah!", I shouted while I was running to her.

"W-What are you doing he-", she said but I cut off her words by giving her the warmest hug I could give her.

"Why aren't you picking up your phone?", I said.

"Oppa..Let go first.", she said while trying to pull away from the hug but I hugged her tighter.

"No. Listen to what I have to say first.",I said and slightly smiled as I felt her hug back.

"Did you know that your hugs are the warmest?", she said.

"Well it is, to you and I could give you as many hugs as you want when you want it.", I said while slowly patting her back.

"I'm sorry if what I said last night hurt you. I didn't mean it. I'm sorry.", I said and she pulled back from the hug.

"Hyunjae-yah. Can I kiss you?", she said and I was flustered by her words.

"Huh?"

She then grabbed my shirt and lowered me to her and softly, gently pecked my lips. I looked at her and she was blushing mess, like I was. Juyeon was right, maybe she did just need me right now to make her heart open up.

"I-I don't know. I don't know how I feel. My heart is beating like crazy but I feel so comfortable. I wanna get closer to you, but i'm too scared.", she said while stepping back a few times.

"If you're too scared, then i'll be the one to go to you.", I said and went closer to her. I held her cheek and pressed my lips on her she kissed back which developed into a long and passionate kiss and I couldn't help but smile during the kiss. We both pulled back for air and looked at each other in the eye.

"See? You're in love, you dummy!", I said and we both chuckled.

I hugged her once again with her head in my chest, hearing my heart beat.

"Do you hear that? I'm so nervous right now that I don't know what to do.", I said while caressing her hair.

"It's beating so fast. Don't you need to go to the hospital?", she said jokingly. I chuckled at her joke as I pulled back from the hug and held her shoulders.

"So uh... Wanna date?", I said with a big smile on my face.

"HAHAHA. You've had your entire life to prepare for this moment and you really chose to sound this awkward? You sound so awkward! Try Again! ", Yeonwoo said and I covered mu face with my two hands as I was so embarassed. But she was right, I had my whole life to prepare and I chose to be this awkward.

"Okay okay.", I said and cleared my throat. I then held her shoulders once again and looked at her eyes.

"Kim Yeonwoo...Can you be my girlfriend?", I said with eager eyes and a smile on my face.

"AAHHHHHH!! This is how you do it!! HAHAHAHA", Yeonwoo squealed and started running around while I laughed at how she reacted.

"So what's your answer!!", I shouted as she was far but she came back right after hearing me. She cupped my cheeks and pecked my lips.

"I'll be your girlfriend but you have to treat me well.", she said while still cupping my cheeks and I smiled while nodding.

"This feels like a dream.", I said and held her hand as we walked by the shore.

"But...did I ever tell you?", I asked her.

"What??", she shifted her body to my direction and and tilted her head like a curious little puppy. Cute!! I thought while looking at her.

"You're my first love.", I told her.

"Me too.", she said which made me confused.

"Oh?? Wasn't it Chan?", I asked.

"To be honest, I liked you before liking him.", she said.

*Flashback*

Yeonwoo's POV
1st year high school and I finally get to attend the same school as my brother and his friend, Hyunjae, once again after a year. Rather than the thought going to school with my brother again, I was occupied by the thought of going to school every day with my crush like OMG just the thought of it made me mentally scream.

There's just so much to like about him. He's kind, considerate, funny, goofy, and of course, HOT AS HELL. I've liked him for years now but why haven't I confessed? He was too famous at school. Too famous for me to actually talk to him at school so I kept hanging out with Juyeon, Hoyoung, and Chan.

As I was planning to confess one day, I heard he was at the rooftop so I ran there.

"I like you.", I heard someone say.

"I'm sorry...I don't wanna be dating with anyone right now.", he said and that's when I backed out.

He's right...maybe It's too early to confess.

*End Of Flashback*

Hyunjae's POV

"And that's how you snd Chan ended up being together??", I asked and she hummed in response.

"I actually rejected that girl cause I wanted to confess to you....But you suddenly started dating another guy.", I said while frowning. She looked at me and laughed.

"That was years ago! Why are you frowning over it like a kid? So cute.", she said and pinched my cheek. I then looked at her and thought,

That's right. What matters is that we have each other now. We may have missed each other multiple times but here we are, finally together. I'll not let you go, Kim Yeonwoo.

"I love you, Kim Yeonwoo", I said.

"I love you too, Lee Jaehyun.", she said with a smile on the face.
