Yeonwoo's POV
After talking with Juyeon, I realized that there is a possibility and still a way for me to be friends with Hyunjae after what happened. Although Juyeon's feelings were sometimes evident in his actions, he assured me that he was okay with me treating him as a friend and even teases me for liking someone else. Maybe..just maybe. I still don't know how I really feel for Hyunjae so my priority is to fix things fast before they get worse.

So, I decided to call him in our nearest meeting place, the convenience store where there's not much people at a time like this.

Hyunjae Oppa🤪

Oppa...can you come out for a while?

And so I waited for him outside and was going to buy him ice cream when he comes.

Hyunjae's POV

Yeonwoo🤪

Yeonwoo:
Oppa... can you come out for a while?

I checked my phone and saw Yeonwoo's message and randomly thought, Since when did I set her nickname to this? How cute... I then smiled and got ready to go out by wearing my shoes and a jacket since winter was coming soon. I go out and see Yeonwoo sitting outside the convenience store looking cold. I approach her and ask,

"Why'd you call me?"

"Let's talk. What do want? Ice cream?", she said with a bitter smile.

"It's almost winter, how the heck would you even survive eating ice cream when you look so cold right now?", I said and removed my jacket and placed it on her shoulder.

"Ah...Aren't you cold?", she said.

"I'm okay. Just say what you want to say. My house is just right there.", I said with a smile.

"I feel like we should pretend you never said any of those back then.", she said while looking down.

"What?", I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Let's pretend you never confessed.", she rephrased her sentence but I just couldn't agree with her.

"Yeonwoo-yah I-"

"I want us to be like before.", she cut me off.

"I can't pretend like nothing happened.", I said.
