Juyeon's POV
A week after that, me and Yeonwoo are finally back to how we were. Although Yeonwoo still hasn't told me what happened, what mattered to me the most was she was better now and that we could finally hang out again. But a part of me still wanted to know what happened.
"Juyeon!!", I turned back to see who called me and it was Kevin.
"Oh, why?", I asked.
"What are you doing here?", he asked.
"Waiting for Yeonwoo...", I said.
"What?!?! Her class ends in 2 hours! Didn't you know?", Kevin said.
"Ah..really? I forgot...", I said.
"It's not like you to forget Yeonwoo's schedule.", he said.
Me and Kevin were in cafe and already our drinks with us. We were just talking about our past while looking outside the cafe through their translucent glass windows that acted as their walls.
"But you...kinda changed.", Kevin said.
"What do you mean?", I asked.
"You used to hate Yeonwoo so much when we were kids.", he said and I just laughed.
"Do I still look like I hate her now?", I said jokingly while pointing at myself.
"No...You love her, right?", he said.
"Of course! After all, she's my bestest friend.", I said.
"No. You look like you love her more than a friend.", Kevin said and looked at me while I avoided his gaze.
"You like Yeonwoo, right?", he asked.
"Tss... What made you say that?", I scoffed.
"The way you look at her is different. Did you know that?", he asked
"I got caught.", I mumbled to myself and scoffed.
"Don't worry. I won't tell anyone.", Kevin patted my back.
"Can I even trust you??"
"WOW!! I feel BETRAYED. We've been friends for years but you can't trust me?!?!?", he answered and stood up.
"Huh?"
"What are you doing? Let's go. Yeonwoo's class is ending soon, "fake friend" ", he said and started walking out of the cafe. I just laughed followed after him.
We came back to school to see 5 people we knew, playing like toddlers. Chanhee, Changmin, and Younghoon were playing the friendship game while Yeonwoo...was bickering with Hyunjae.
What a sight. I thought.
"Where's Jacob and Sangyeon?", Kevin asked.
"Jacob went to the rest room and Sangyeon hyung had business somewhere.", Younghoon answered.
"What are you two doing?", I asked Yeonwoo.
"Juyeon-ah! Help me out! He won't give my notebook back..", she whined.
Cutie... I smiled to myself.
"Not until you'll promise to buy me lunch!!", Hyunjae answered teasingly.
"I'll buy it for you, Hyung!", I said.
"Mwoya~~? Juyeon-ah~~ Will you really buy him lunch??", Yeonwoo asked with sparkling eyes.
"Mm~ If that makes you happier", I answered with a smile.
"Awww~ Thank You~", Yeonwoo said.
"So... when are you going to buy me lunch?", Hyunjae said with his eyes widened.
"Not lunch but i'll buy you something else.", I said.
"Then count me in~~!!!", Yeonwoo said while doing aegyo. Cute..
"WhatYouThinkAbout TheConvenienceStoreInOurNeighborhoodLater7pm?", Hyunjae excitingly said while looking at Yeonwoo.
"Ohh~~ Rapper Hyunjae~", Yeonwoo said and nudged Huunjae's shoulder. Looking at them two, they look a bit, closer than usual or is it just me?
Hours later, me and Hyunjae were chilling at home with Sangyeon, completely forgetting about our plan with Yeonwoo or rather, unaware of what time it was. Honestly, I did know we had a plan but I did not want to remind Hyunjae because I knew my wallet would have nothing left in it since Yeonwoo would be there too. I mean, I'm fine with treating Yeonwoo only though so I was contemplating whether or not I should go now without Hyunjae. That was until, I received a call from Yeonwoo.
"Hello?"
"YAH!! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!", Yeonwoo was loud enough for Hyunjae, who was beside me, to hear our conversation.
"Mwoya? What time is it?", Hyunjae asked.
"I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR HERE FOR AN HOUR NOW!! MAKE IT FAST!!", Yeonwoo said and finally hung up.
"Hyung, Let's Go!!", I said scared of the fact that Yeonwoo would be dead mad at us for (almost) ditching her.
As soon as we were at the door, I saw Yeonwoo walking fastly towards us while glaring at us. Me and Hyunjae walked slowly knowing Yeonwoo would beat the hell out of us once she reached us. A second later, however, Hyunjae started to run fastly towards her.
"KIM YEONWOO!!!", Hyunjae shouted.
Why? She was not walking by the sidewalk and a motorcycle was speeding towards our direction. I started running too after seeing the motorcycle but I was too late. Hyunjae pulled Yeonwoo's arms and held her waist with his other arm. I looked at Hyunjae who was looking at the roads while Yeonwoo looked flustered. I knew all of that was to keep her safe but...I can't help but feel jealous.
That could've been me. If only the world wasn't too fast for me. If only I wasn't one step behind all the time.

Sorry if the plot for this chapter wasn't that good but anywaysss I decided to drop this one today since i'd be gone again for a while and maybe longer this time :(( but~~ I'll be writing more chapters first and post them once I get the time to do so...goshhh if only this app could schedule updates i'd update every week.
