The Masterminds Room?

Hajimes pov

I felt myself being thrown onto the ground. The chain released me so I could breath. I could feel something soft under my fingertips. I shut my eyes, terrified to face whatever strange execution the mastermind had planned for me.

"open your eyes my sweet prince"

My eyes shot open. I'd recognise that voice from anywhere!

"gundam?" I stared at the boy in wonderment "you're alive!?"

"of course" he said proudly "That execution was tame compared to the others. I survived with only a few simple scratches"

I felt myself smiling slightly. My friend. He's really alive.

"so where are we anyway?" I looked around the well furnished room. Hell I was even sitting on a red carpet!

"in my room of course" he replied.

"huh" I tilted my head in confusion. This is definitely not gundams room!

"now quiet my dear" he took a seat next to me on the carpet "there's something I'd like to show you"

He pulled out a remote from his pocket and pressed play. One of the monitors lit up, showing a execution..

"beautiful isn't it" gundam watched the screen with a look of pride in his eyes "of course I could never do that to you. Especially not over some blonde wenches bad decisions but luckily for you there was a loophole" he booped my nose "with a little bit of coding I could make it look like you were there. See? Problem solved!"

"coding?" I looked at him nervously. None of this makes sense!

"ah ah not yet my dear" he gently caressed my cheek "I can't tell you everything already. That will spoil all the fun!"

I moved away from him "you're the mastermind aren't you?" I wanted him to deny it but instead he simply smiled.

"yes I am" he stood up and spread his arms out in a grand gesture "I created this game in order to erase my enemies!"

He took a step forward. I immediately moved back. I kept moving back until my back hit the wall. I trembled under the taller male. Here I am facing the mastermind all alone..

And I'm terrified!

I felt tears run down my cheeks. He bent down and gently wiped my tears away.

"ahh such delightful tears" he chuckled "so full of fear and despair. You're nothing like the other one. The one I intend to kill but I must say I like you better this way. Soft and helpless" he whispered the last part in my ears.

"you're not making any sense!" I tried to sound brave but my voice faltered.

"hush little rabbit" he muttered as he scooped me up in his arms "no need to act brave. Your wolf is here to protect you"

He lay on bed with me on his chest. I was too tired to struggle. I just lay there, listening to the sound of his heartbeat. Dispite the situation I was in this felt strangely.
