We pad downstairs, Louis holding my hand because this was the first time he would meet my mom. I was now in his sweater, leggings and converses while he was wearing the outfit he was last night just without the jacket because we were going to go to his to get him changed before we do anything.

"Be nice," I hear Summer grit, hearing my mom sigh.

We make it downstairs and I see Summer leaning on the counter with her phone, my mom putting things in the table. "Ah, glad you could join us," she says kind of forced.

"Don't go there," I shake my head.

"Did you have fun last night?" Summer asks, moving her eyes to Louis, falling on his neck. "Holy shit, you did," she smirks. He instantly covers his neck, looking at me.

"Did you have to do it that bad?" he feels the large hickey on his neck arch. I slowly shrug, biting my lip.

"Sorry," I whisper.

"You've got one too," she points.

"Yeah, hers isn't like she was attacked by a bear," he huffs.

"I'm sure it's not that bad," she walks over to him. He drops his hand and she cups her mouth. "Oh my god April," she laughs.

"Will you stop?" I grit in a whisper.

"He hasn't got long enough hair to cover it," she snickers.

"Summer," I whine. "Stop,"

"Okay," she holds her hands out in defence.

"I really am sorry babe, I didn't think it would be that bad," I cringe.

"It's okay," he whispers, squeezing my hand.

"I can try to cover it?"

"I hate the feel of foundation, I tried to cover one when I was fourteen,"

"Aubrey?"

"Yeah," he mouth mouths as he nods. I take his hand and pull him over to the table. I sit him down where I sit on his lap. He puts his hand on my stomach while I grab two plates.

I put toast that was buttered on the plates, squeezing honey onto Louis'. "So Louis," my mom sits down. I lean over to get the jug of juice. "What are you studying at Boston? That's a hard school to get into, how did you do it?"

"I'm learning architecture and how I got in was I said I had a few good grades which is true," he murmured.

"Oh," she nods. "How is your mom?" she asks, striding tea. "Did you want a tea? I know you love them,"

"I'm okay, thank you," he declines politely. "My moms good," he nods.

"April, get off his lap," she said. I roll my eyes and hand Louis a piece of his toast and take my plain buttered one, sitting sideways on his lap.

"No," I shake my head. "He doesn't care if I'm here, right?"

"Of course not," he shakes his head.

"Hmm," she hums. "How many siblings do you have now?"

"Five, not including my moms pregnancy, but if I did, it would be seven," he explains.

"Is it another set of twins?"

"Yeah," he says.

"You know I went against my beliefs and put April on birth control-" she starts and my eyes widen, shaking my head. "-so she doesn't get knocked up by you?"

"Mom!" me and Summer shout at the same time.
"Don't!"

She shrugs. "Well it's true,"

"God, you're being so childish about this!" I feel my blood boil, Louis rubbing my thigh.

"Babe," he whispers, trying to tell me it's fine but I don't care.

"You still think he would get me pregnant? Get over yourself!"

"Mom seriously, grip onto the fact that April isn't a little girl anymore, you did this with Ryan and I as well," Summer states. "Stop making Louis' first experience with you living hell by asking him so many questions about his family life and personal life and certainly not their relationship!"

She stares at Summer, taking a sip of her tea. "You didn't hear them-"

"Mom!" I slam my hand on the table. "Please, will you stop!" I can feel myself get angrier, Louis too.

"Don't raise your voice at me," she points.

"Don't give me a reason too, just get to know him without asking so many questions about everything!" I explain, taking a deep breath near the end.

Louis rubs my back, cupping my jaw and turning my head to him. "It's okay," he mouths, his hand calming mine instantly. I lean down and peck his lips, keeping it short because my mom and sister are watching.

"Can you please just stop pressuring him?" I whine.

Breakfast didn't exactly go well. Louis was feeling awkward to eat so I had to share mine with him, my mom wouldn't stop staring and Summer knew what was up and didn't ask questions.

We went back to my room after breakfast, Summer walking in with us because she wanted to get to know him better. "You guys aren't going to jump ok each other, are you?" she asks but we shake our heads.

"For your sake Ill try not too," I joke. She looks at my unmade bed, scrunching her nose up.

"To sit it not..."

We look at each other. "Why?" I ask.

"I'm sorry...I heard the wall fall off," she crosses her arms. My cheeks burn and Louis folds his lips in a line.

"Um, it's fine, we did on the covers, not underneath?" I try to make it better, Louis snickering softly.

"Oh, that fixes everything," she rolls her eyes, I pull the covers off the bed completely so she can sit down. "Are you sure?"

"Just don't look at it," Louis suggests.

"Just don't look at it," she sits down.

"See?" I smile.

She rolls her eyes.
