The low bus him makes April sigh and she leans her pounding head on the window. She sat on the two seater alone without Zayn next to her this time. She hugs her knees and leans into the window.

Zayn was near the back of the bus. his heart broken. He stares out the window, trying to think of anything else but finds it hard when April comes into his mind.

Niall sits next to his new girlfriend Barbara, they have whispered flirtatious conversation which makes them snicker in a whisper. He smiles at her and she smiles back before pressing their lips together. He felt happy.

Harry was with Liam on the double seater, not sharing a word. They both knew what happened.

Louis was silent, headphones in and playing a sad song playlist because April said she wasn't going to talk to him until Zayn had forgiven her. He tried not to think about her at all but he couldn't help it.

Her green eyes, her blonde hair, her perfect body, everything. She was circling his mind like a carousel. He thinks about Zayn though. He regrets ever making him feel bad for being friends with April. He regrets starting that rumour about April and Gemma.

April on the other hand was quiet because she had told Louis to leave her alone until Zayn forgave her, which was never. She knew she had completely ruined their friendship and that Zayn was never going forgive her.

April: zayn, please i feel terrible

April: you're my best friend, i can't lose you

April: i love you

April: i miss you, please

April: zayn

Zayn was reading them as she sent them but he didn't reply. Instead he swallowed his tears to save himself from crying on the bus. He closed his phone and shook his head to himself.

Zayn, April and Louis all hated that trip. April heated it cause she lost Zayn. Zayn hated it because he lost April and Louis hated it because he started the fight between the two.

The bus was silent with worn out and tired teenagers even at 12pm.

The bus parked at the front of the school after a long trip and they all padded out. Summer, Aprils sister came to pick her up. She grabbed her suitcase and walked quickly to her car. She put her suitcase in the back and got in the front.

"Hey," she says.

"Mhm," she hummed. Summer furrowed her brows and waves to Zayn who smiled sadly and continued walking to his moms car.

"What's wrong with Zayn?" she asks. April swallows and doesn't answer. "Great trip huh, sounds like it was great," she rolled her eyes and started the car, driving home.

When Zayn got in the car, his mom noticed something. He stared at his lap, tracing the tattoos on his hand that his mom didn't really care that he got. "What's wrong?" Trisha asked.

"Nothing," he muttered.

"Zayn," she started to drive. "What's wrong?"

"I said nothing," he said a little clearer.

"And I'm not falling for that, you can tell me,"

He shakes his head.

"I'm fine," he looked up and smiled. His eyes were probably red from tears and lack of sleep.

When Louis made it to his moms car, he rolled his eyes and threw his crinkled bag in the back and didn't acknowledge his mom at all. "How-"

"No," he shook his head, refusing to talk.
