EILEEN'S PHONE RANGED CAUSING THE GIRL TO STOP HER READING and reach towards her nightstand to pick up the telephone. "Hello, this is the Halsaine residence." those words slipped out of her tongue so easily like she had said those words a hundred times. The person on the phone didn't respond until they cleared their throat and started breathing throughout the phone. Eileen furrowed her eyebrows, "Hello? This is Eiliana Halsaine, want to leave a message?"

The person on the other end debated on speaking, seeing how this turned awkward they took their chances. "Hi- Hey...it's Stacy." Eileen straightened her posture at the response, her face brightened up a bit.

"Oh, hi?" Eileen tried her best not to sound excited and happy to hear from her previous friend. On the other end, Stacy looked over her shoulder to see Hazel signaling her to hurry up.

"Are you busy? Paige and the others are going to the beach and if you want to you can come, my invite." Stacy bit her lip, wanting the girl to say yes badly. She was trying to restore their friendship and she had to make the first move to speak to her otherwise they wouldn't make up.

Eileen heard from downstairs her parents fighting and sped towards her door to muffle the sound. She slid down the door and closed her eyes , "Actually, I can't have things to do, sorry."

Stacy rolled her eyes and scoffed , "Yeah okay whatever." She hung up the phone and ran to catch up with Hazel, who was getting into Paige's older brother's car. The Halsaine house suddenly went silent and that scared Eileen when she didn't hear her parents arguing anymore. She stood up and turned to the door, stumbling a bit when she noted big footsteps coming upstairs. A loud knock came from her door making the girl flinch.

"Lenah. Open the door." Her fathers voice was demanding and comforting at the same time. Heels clicked against the floor and her fathers muffling voice behind the door whispered harshly at her mother. Keys jangled and her doorknob turning made her widen her eyes. Her parents' cold stare came from it and her father in a second spotted her drawer and began raiding it.

"WHAT ARE U DOING? MOM?!" She screamed as her dad took her phone and rushed to her vanity grabbing her computer, chargers, and other electronics. Her mother just stood in the door leaning on it, arms crossed, and a sour look on her face. Her father made an exit towards the door, but Eileen couldn't comprehend what was going on and chased after him. "STOP! GIVE THAT BACK! Dad, you can't take that away. DAD!"

"SHUT UP EILEEN! YOU HAVE BEEN A DISGRACE WITH YOUR DISOBEDIENCE AND I GAVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE! I really did, but no not any more, all your privileges are gone." He snapped at his daughter. Ilana took a hold of her daughter's arm tightening her grip on it, Eileen struggled to get away and harshly pushed her off still chasing after her father. Her father walked towards his office and Eileen was on the breaking point about to cry.
