"I HAVE TO DO THIS. I'M SORRY."

EILEEN GASPED, STARTLED BY THE SOUND OF A GUNSHOT RING NEAR, she snapped her head towards the direction of the noise only to see a group of guys laughing at the broken glass made by a paintball gun. She closed her eyes in relief, clutching her chest where her heart is, to slow her heartbeat. The heroin she took hadn't relieved her stress at all, but the opposite caused her to feel her heart pump fast and the party she was at made her anxious.

She was sitting on the living room couch, sweaty bodies around her, dancing horribly to the beat of the song, some were passed out near the corners and the others were either drinking or doing drugs. A guy eye f*cking her in one of the corners had been standing against the beverage table checking her out all night and she had begun growing tired of him. She crossed her legs and ran her fingers through her hair, fixing her wavy hair style.

One second the guy was staring admiringly at her, the other he was leaning on the same couch as her, his arm around her in the back of the couch. "U wanna get out of here." He whispered close to her ear, Eileen shook her head as a no. "Come on, we'll have funnn!" he dragged the n, teasing her. He took a hold of her chin, fighting his grip on it so she wouldn't move. He began kissing the naked area, sucking on it. She hissed in pain , struggling to get out from his strong hold.

"No thanks." Eileen gulped, pushing him off her, she used this time to stand up from the couch and rush to an empty restroom, locking the door behind her. Sighing, she slid down from the door , "What am i doing?" she muttered under her breath, putting her arms around her legs. She reached down her pocket and pulled out two things: opioid and her cellphone. Her eyes flickered between the two things, she hesitated, but she chose her cellphone. She found her dad's personal phone and began dialing.

"Hello? Who's this?"

Eileen cleared her throat , "dad..."

"Lenah! sweetheart, what's wrong?"

"Can you please pick me up." Eileen whispered lowly, trying her best not to break down and let the tears fall.

"Why? Did u and Stacy have a fight?" Allen asked his daughter, concerned by the lack of response, he reached over his pockets in search of his keys.

"I'm not at Stacy's house, dad... I'm at a party. I'm sorry, can you just please pick me up." Eileen confessed, her shaky voice immediately made Allen Halsaine rush outside to get his car.

"I'll be right there sweetheart. Just don't move okay. Don't take anything." Allen sped out from his neighborhood, Eileen sent him her address and he pressed on the accelerator. When he arrived at the location, he got confused looks when he barged into the party, but he went upstairs to find his daughter. He knocked on each door calling out for his daughter's name , "Lenah, sweetheart, where are you!" he exclaimed, hearing his voice, Eileen sighed in relief, she turned the knob open and went out into the hall.
