EILEEN'S WOUND WAS MINOR COMPARED TO STACY'S AND JIMMY'S, Allen Halsaine was relieved by that, not the fact that theirs were worse, but that his daughter made it out alive with just a big scar on her shoulder and not crippled or laying 6 feet under. Because without her— without Eileen, Allen would have been drowned by sorrow and his progress of becoming a better person would have been ruined. Despite the fact that she was breathing and healthy, his daughter was a mess.

But, Allen would rather have his daughter alive and a mess than dead. That day of the incident, three teenage kids were rushed to the hospital, one barely breathing, another not breathing at all, and the other awake, but felt like she was dead. The one with no heartbeat had been the girl with pink painted nails, blue eyeshadow in the corners of her eyes, and the daughter of a religious saint. It had been all a giant headache for the girl, that's the best description she could explain.

Her wound was in her abdomen way too close to her heart than necessary and she remembered laying on the school floors bathing in the pile of blood that belonged to her and Eileen if she recalled, but most of it was hers. The feeling of her chest felt burning up, like a huge fire inside her, and her breaths turned to muffled whimpers. When her eyes fluttered and the next she was in a hospital bed— for how long? she didn't know. This was probably the longest time that Stacy had spent outside without her mothers approval.

"Hi." Stacy wouldn't have heard the angelic soothing voice of the girl if it hadn't been the creak in the tile floor. Turning her head to the side, she flinched by the bright light of the sun she came in contact with. Closing her eyes, the girl groaned trying to get up to block the strong light by her hand. The girl in the room with her, immediately dashed beside her, helping her up in a comfortable position. Stacy, now more relaxed, opened her eyes and saw the blonde haired girl being illuminated by the sun behind her.

Perhaps it was an Angel were Stacy's thoughts and it was an Angel, Eileen Halsaine to be exact. Reality struck her  in the face when she remembered the previous events that happened and guilt overtook her face. Noticing the tears that formed in Stacy's eyes, Eileen brushed them away with her fingers. "You're okay?" Worry laced in Stacy's tongue were foreign for the girl, Eileen hadn't recognized those feelings in a long time. Nodding her head and giving her a tight smile, Eileen chuckled.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Eileen asked, Stacy smiled at the tone heard in her voice. It didn't seem like it, but Eileen was enraged , she was filled with anger built up inside that she had been forming since forever. She was mad at the school for not caring about Rick's situation, she was mad at the kids that taunted him every day when they had an opportunity to bully him any chance they got at school, she was furious with Rick, and she hated Stacy facing consequences of her own actions.
