・❥・chapter twenty-seven, it girl
LOUIS HAWTHORNE BELIEVED IN MANY THINGS, SOME MIGHT say he was delusional because of it. He believed in love at first sight and it didn't help that he was a very ambitious person that thought he could accomplish anything. Boy was he love sick ever since he laid eyes on Eileen Dana Halsaine. His move to the states was successful to say the least. Although, along the way a certain something landed on his front porch.A letter.
That damn letter that set him on a different path once he found out the truth. That the girl that he couldn't get off his mind never said cruel sayings to him so he could leave her alone because it wasn't her at all ,but her parents that thought making him disappear out of her life would be better. Louis was a damn fool to believe she would say that and as he paced back and forth in his room almost in a panic state, he smiled.
The letter contained bittersweet words that made him grin, his cheeks starting to ache because of it. Yes, he was just a sixteen year old boy and yes, he was in love with the brown haired fairy girl that could make his heart race once she gave him a bit of attention. He received along the letter a picture of her with her new hair and her laying outside surrounded by flowers. When he thought he couldn't be more in love with her, he received this.
He didn't think he would ever see her again and a part of him believed this was the universe's way of telling him to screw being here and get the girl. Setting the letter down next to him, he laid down in the comfort of his bed and put his hands on his head and sighed. Barging in, his younger brother stared at him with no emotion and then jumped on top of him, shoving a donut that was on his hand on his mouth.
"HEY! STOP! GET OUT, fart face." Louis pushed the boy off and threw out the donut out of his mouth into the trash can. The younger one just chuckled, pointing a finger on him and had a constipated look on his face from laughing hard. Louis furrowed his eyebrows at his laughing, confused why the younger kid started bothering him. The look on his face vanished when he saw his younger brother shake the letter he had on his bed on his hands.
"GIVE THAT BACK, TOERAG! Or I'll push you down the stairs! F***." Louis yelled out, rushing to follow behind his brother who was running for his life from the boy. Laughing while running, the younger boy screeched for his mother. The sound of yells around the house made the Mexican mother hold her hand in her head, a headache forming. Grunting the mother hid from the boys behind the pantry door, closing the door behind her.
"MA! MAMY!! AHHHH!" The screams of the younger boy echoed calling for his mommy for help. Tackling the younger boy, Louis tried to yank the letter out of the boy's hands, but the younger boy had a tight grip on the letter. Tickling him until his grip loosened, Louis snatched the letter and marched upstairs into his room. The younger brother stood laying down on the floor asking for help, faking being hurt.
