Violet's POV

Okay ladies and gentlemen ever had that one ex that was fucking insane? Well if so you'll be able to relate to this chapter very well....

"Uh Violet?" Kelley asks

"What's up?" I ask sipping a propel black cherry water

"Apparently Devin and Kayleen are engaged"

I sip out my water and laugh "oh my god. He will do anything for the limelight when he is trash"

Kelley laughs "Seriously he wants to be famous that bad?"

"Yeah their love story is about how they stabbed their wife and best friend in the back and fell inlove damn what a fucked up story" I say laughing

*Knock knock*

"Who is it?" Rim asks

"It's Devin"

"Speaking of the devil himself" I say going to the door

"Miss James" Ryuk says

"It's alright just be by the door and Kelley keep my phone on you with Drex's contact up just incase" I say

"Got it" she says grabbing my phone off the counter

I open the door "Oh I almost didn't recognize you without your whore wrapped around your waist"

He scoffs "Very funny, I just came to say I'm sorry"

Now it's my turn to scoff "oh please, no you aren't"

Just a quick background on Devin I forgot to mention he can get really angry where he punches whatever is in his path thankfully I wasn't one of those things...

He balls his fist up "Damn it Violet, why can't you accept the apology?"

"Because you are a scumbag that's why" I say

He growls "Don't make me do something I'll regret"

"OH IS THAT A THREAT?" I say it loud enough for Kelley to hear she nods and grabs my phone

"NO BITCH IT'S A PROMISE" Devin yells

"OH REALLY?" I scream

Devin's eyes turn black as night and he swings punching me in the nose.

"PRICK. RIM! RYUK!" I scream holding my nose

They apprehend Devin and escort him off my property and soon Drex arrives.

"Does it hurt?" Kelley asks

"Yeah, I hope this won't fuck my job up" I say

"Well, I've got the bleeding to stop and I've bandaged you up" Kelley says

"Thanks" i say sitting on the counter in the kitchen

Drex stands in front of me in between my legs as Kelley puts the first aid kit away.

"Are you alright?" Drex asks

"Yeah I knew he was gonna get pissy when I didn't except his apology" I say

Drex places a hand on my cheek caressing lightly with his thumb "I'm so sorry"

"For what? You didn't punch me and by the way you don't hit women do you?" I ask

"No. I'd shoot myself if I ever hit a woman" Drex says

"I'm so relieved to hear that" I say kissing his lips softly he kisses back.

We part.

"Ella?" I ask

"Yes miss james?" She asks

"Please let my manager know what's happened so he will know" I say

"Yes ma'am" she says making the call

"Wanna hang?" Drex asks

"I would but Kelley and I are supposed to hang" I say

"Alright text or call me later okay?" Drex asks

"Alright." I say as I get off the counter Drex kisses my forehead before leaving

After Drex leaves Kelley crosses her arms "We weren't supposed to hang out"

I sigh "I know I just don't wanna spend every second of every day together then fall to hard into something that could be another heart break" I say shrugging

"I understand that but you could have told him that" she says

"Then he would be hurt" I say

"At least he'd know the truth" she says

"Well, do you wanna hang?" I ask

"I can't. I have a date" she says leaving

"What's the situation with Devin?" I ask

"He's being held in Metropolis county jail until his trial on monday"

"Alright. Have Elliott pull the car around I'm going to visit my parents" I say going to get dressed
