Violet's POV
I hate interviews. I already know Jett dealy is gonna ask about Ross ask if I'm gonna stay with Drex this time..
Jett: Welcome Violet.. how are you?
"I'm fine." I say crossing my arms
Jett: that's great. Excited about your new album? Your song Gravity has reached #1 on the top 100 hottest hits of 2022
"I am that's so amazing I'm glad people are loving my music" I say smiling
Jett: right? So have you picked your wedding dress yet?
"Currently still looking but I'm sure I'll find it very soon." I say
Jett: great! Now please welcome my other guest Ross Lynch
"Hey Jett great to be here" Ross says smiling
I cross my arms and give Ella a look. She looks as shocked as me...
Jett: So Ross will you and Violet collab again?
"I'd love to collab with her again but it's up to her and her fiancee Drex" Ross
Jett: very true. Violet would you be open to another collab with Ross?
"Yeah maybe. It would have to be a wait and see thing" I say fake smiling
Jett: Well it was great seeing you Violet you may leave if you'd like
"Thank god." I mumble to myself
"I'm so sorry Violet" Ella says
"Who said he was coming?" I ask
"No one told me. Jett said he wanted to interview you. He said absolutely nothing about Ross too." She says annoyed
"Typical asshole. Got to create drama" I say shaking my head
"Umm Drex has decided to star in Sophia Reyes music video" Ella says
"When?" I ask
"He just agreeded to it according to the notification I just got.. the video shoot is tommrow?!" Ella says
"He didn't tell me?" I ask a little upset
"I'm sorry Violet" Ella says
"It's okay. Can we just go?" I ask
*Back Home*
"Hello Violet." Chole says smiling
"Umm.. hello? What are you doing here?" I ask
"Just thought Drex's future wife should meet his daughter." She says smiling
I smile and kneel "Hi Jasmine"
"WHERES DADDY? YOU WILL NEVER BE MY MOMMY! SHE'S MY MOMMY YOU SPLIT THEM UP I HATE YOU!" Jasmine screams
I'm taken back I sigh and stand up "Well thanks for trying I guess"
"JASMINE NICOLE. THAT IS NOT HOW WE SPEAK TO VIOLET." Chole yells
"SHE IS THE REASON WHY YOU AND DADDY SPLIT UP" Jasmine screams
I sigh sadly and look away {Thank God I wore sunglasses today}
Drex pulls in and Jasmine rushes to him.
"DADDY!" She beams
"Hi angel." He says picking her up and kissing her forehead
"Hello Drex" Chole says
"Hey Chole what are you doing here?" He asks
"I umm thought Jasmine should meet Violet" Chole says as I walk over
"Hey beautiful" Drex says smiling
"Hello" I simply say
He furrows his brows putting jasmine down and wrapping me in his arms.
"Hey what's wrong?" He asks taking my sunglasses off
"I'll tell you later" I say wiping a tear away
"Violet are you alright?" Chole asks
"Yeah I'm gonna-"
"DADDY! STOP TOUCHING HER! YOUR SUPPOSED TO BE WITH MOMMY!" Jasmine yells
I sigh "Drex it's okay I'll be inside" I say kissing his cheek
*inside*
I head upstairs taking off my shoes and laying on my bed staring at the ceiling.
{I understand how she feels... she doesn't understand why Drex and her mom aren't together... it still hurts because I want her to like me she is my fiancee's daughter after all}
Drex enters our room and lays on top of me "Chole told me what happened."
I sigh "Yeah.. I didn't wanna say.. she's a kid she doesn't understand this... I'm not mad I just want her to like me.."
Drex smiles and kisses my forehead "Baby I know and that's why I love you so much.. you accept her and I'm sure she will eventually I'll talk to her"
"Okay. It wasn't just her Ross showed up at my interview because Jett wanted both of us on but told Ella it was just me" I say annoyed
"Wow that is messed up I'm so sorry baby girl" Drex says wrapping his arms around me
"It's okay." I say
Drex smirks "I can make you smile"
"Oh yeah? How so?" I ask
He begins tickling me I laugh "Really babe?"
He smirks "Your laughing aren't you?!"
I laugh more "omg stop!"
"I don't wanna" he whines
I giggle "Why'd you have to be so cute?"
He smiles "I love you beautiful"
"I love you more handsome" I say kissing his lips he kisses back.
