S2 New thing, Old Flame? Chapter 34

Violet's POV

I'm currently getting ready for brunch with my mother and Liam I'm so excited to see mom's reaction to seeing him again. I know she's gonna gush over him but it has been 9 months since the divorce maybe it is time to move on clearly Drex has with Chole and and that wasn't even before the divorce was finalized so why shouldn't I have some fun with someone I've known for over a decade now? He's sweet, charming, funny, handsome as hell and def not bad to look at.  I head downstairs and wait for Liam to pick me up soon he arrives in an all black mustang. 

"And when did you get this beauty?" I ask 

"Had her for about 2 years now she purrs like a cat" he says smiling 

I chuckle "I'm sure so" 

"Anyway beautiful? I've got you your favorite coffee a medium carmel latte extra whip and carmel" He says smiling 

I smile "Aww Liam I could kiss you!" I beam 

He places the coffee on the hood of his car and wraps his arms around my waist then he whispers "Then why don't you?" 

I look in his beautiful blue eyes I lean up and kiss his lips softly he kisses back deepening the kiss. 

I pull away "We should go we will be late to brunch with mom" I say smiling and grabbing my coffee he opens the door for me I smile getting in then we to brunch with my mom.

(Liam's Mother will be played by Anette O'toole and His sister Lexi will be played by Kristin Kreuk Whoever knows where these ladies are from gets a shoutout! Lexi's husband is played by Tom Welling ) 

We arrived at Liam's mom's house and it's absolutely beautiful it's a cozy yet country cabin vibe to it.. just like his old house I remember it so clearly. He puts his arm around me as we head inside I guess he senses my nervousness after seeing his mom and sister after all this time.

"Mom? Lexi? Jason? Ya'll home?" Liam asks 

"Oh my babyboy!" Clarissa beams (Liam's mom) 

He hugs her tightly she hugs back "Hi momma you look beautiful as always"

"Thank you who's- Oh my little Violet James? Is that you sweetie?" She asks 

"Hi mama how are you?" I ask hugging her tightly she hugs back.

(I used to call her mama all the time when Liam and I were kids my mom never minded because they were and still are the best of friends)

"Look at how beautiful you are dear I've missed you and your parents so much how are they?" She asks 

I laugh "Oh you know the usual dad doing shit to piss momma off" I say laughing harder

She chuckles "Ah yes your father was always a bit of a pain in ass I don't see how your mother did it" 

"I admire their love and hopefully some day I can have that kind of love without a 3rd divorce" I sighing 

Liam wraps me in his arms kissing my forehead "If you give me a chance we can try to make that kind of love" He says smiling 

I hug back and smile "Yes but we aren't gonna rush this. I'm fine giving you a shot because I've known you forever and my father, mother and yours would kill you if you hurt me" I say laughing 

"Yeah again to this very dad your father terrfies me and I can only imagine his reaction if we were to ever get married some day I'd be dead at the alter." Liam says 

I laugh harder "Oh please my mom can handle him."

"LEXI GET YOUR RUDE ASS DOWN HERE NOW!" Mama yells
