Valentine's day! chapter 5

A/N: I know I'm writing this a few days early but I got inspiration from youtube so let's begin........

*a week later*

Violet's POV

It's valentine's day and Kelley as been going on and on about how she got sunflowers her favorite but she won't tell me who the guy is....

"Who is it?" I ask doing my make up

"I don't wanna say just yet" she says leaving

I sigh then my phone chimes with a message

Drex : Good morning beautiful ❤ got any plans for today and tonight?

Violet: good morning handsome ❤ and no? Why???

Drex: Just be ready in 10 please? ❤🥺

Violet: omggggg stoppppp it!!! Your too cute okay okay ❤❤

Drex: awesome! See you soon beautiful ❤❤❤

I chuckle and get dressed curling my hair and fixing my make up. I gave my team the day off since I had the day off for valentine's day why shouldn't they?? Rim and Ryuk even have the day off to be with their wives.

After getting dressed I grab my bag, keys, and phone then head outside to wait for Drex.

*meanwhile*

"Dude she's gonna love it" dean says

(Dean is Drex's assistant)

"I hope so I'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend tonight. I hope she says yes"

"Aww bro, I'm sure she I'll this looks great but I'd recommend lighting the candles later" Dean says

"Oh yeah so they don't burn the house down" Drex says

After 10 mins Drex pulls up look as handsome as usual in a suit and tie.

"You look incredible" he says smiling

"So do you, and this old thing?" I say laughing

He smiles opening my door for me I smile and get in. He goes to the drivers side and gets in himself.

"Will you tell me what your up to?" I ask

"It's a surprise!" He beams

I chuckle "okay 24 year old kid"

He laughs and continues driving to wherever we are going. After 4 hours of driving we arrive at what looks like a private  beach.

"I thought we could lay in the sand looking at the sky on my private beach?" He asks

My eyes widen "oh wow that sounds romantic" I say smiling

"So my lady? Join me?" He asks opening my door again with his arm out

I chuckle and take it "Why of course, you are such a gentleman"

We walk along the beach and talk for a bit then we grab a blanket and lay it down on the beach. We lay looking at the sky just enjoying each other's company.

"Wow this is so relaxing. I love my job but sometimes it's nice to just lay with no worries" I say sighing happily

He smiles laying over top of me kissing my lips I kiss back.

We part, his hand stays on my cheek just caressing with his thumb I smile I at him running my fingers through his soft brown hair.

"Having a good valentine's day?" He asks

I chuckle "absolutely amazing. Wouldn't have it any other way"

He smiles kissing my forehead and we head back to what I think is metropolis but it's about 10 miles on the outskirts of metropolis.

We arrive at a little cabin.

"May I ask you wear this? Your surprise is inside?" Drex says

I nod "sure"

He places the blindfold on me and guides me up the stairs and into the cabin.

"You may take off your blindfold"  he says

I take it off to see this.....

I smile "you remembered I like the simple things" I say smiling

"Yes there's one more thing close your eyes!" He beams

I chuckle and close them until he tells me i can open them again.

"Alright open" he says

I open my eyes and see in red rose petals "Now, that you were my valentine will you be my girlfriend?"

I chuckle "yes Drex, I'd love to be your girlfriend"

He smiles and kisses me I kiss back wrapping my arms around his neck his hands wrap around my waist.
