Violet's POV
Drex and I are attending the 2022 met gala where will be making our first appearance as boyfriend and girlfriend. We take lots of photos together by we I mean reporters and photographers.
Reporter: hello I'm jessie from Hollywood scoop inc. Do you two have a moment for some questions?
We say sure at the same time.
Reporter: great! So Violet, how does it feel dating one of the hottest CEOS in history?
"He's an amazing guy, the fact of him being a CEO just means we have very successful careers as one unit." I say smiling
Reporter: awww how sweet!! So Drex how do you feel dating a very successful, super attractive international super model?
"She's perfect. She's the type of woman that you pray about and you hope she doesn't yell at you for dirty socks in the hallway *laughs* As far as her career? Yes I knew she was famous but spending time with her out of the limelight I've gotten to know her for her." Drex says
Reporter: So it's offically confirmed you two are boyfriend and girlfriend?
We smile.
"Yes it is." Drex says smiling
Reporter: awe, so Violet thoughts on Ariana Grande?
"I love her to pieces she's the absolute sweetest and I'd love to meet her. If she asked me to be celebrity friends I'd say hell yeah boo" I say laughing
Reporter: Hahaha I know right, i think we all would say yes. So not hate what's so ever?
"Not at all she's a queen and I love her so much" I say smiling
Reporter: any hate towards your ex husband Devin Jones or ex bestfriend Kayleen?
"No, all I can say is that I wish them the best and I'm moving on." I say smiling
We finish the questions take a few more pictures before the reporter leaves.
"I can already see a tabloid about me just using you" Drex says
I furrow my brows "what makes you say that?"
"I don't know, but I'll be back I've got use the bathroom" he says leaving
As I'm walking to grab a water I bump into someone.
"I'm so sorry- HOLY SHIT YOUR ARIANA GRANDE!"
She laughs "that's me, how are you?"
"Amazing, how are you?" I ask
"That's fantastic I'm good so I seen your interview wanna be besties?" She asks
I smile "hell yeah boo"
She laughs and we exchange numbers and Instagram handles before she leaves.
*Meanwhile*
"Well, well, well"
"Can I help you with something?" Drex asks
"I'm Kayleen, an old friend of Violet's"
"Yeah, I've heard of you" Drex says
"Becareful she switches up a lot"
"Right, your little game isn't gonna work on me I read the article about you" Drex says
"You really think she isn't worried about you? Nor having doubts? She literally heard you say they are gonna write a tabloid about you using her for followers and shit so are you?" Kayleen asks
"Of course not, you know how tabloids are" Drex says
"Hmm good job, now she's probably over thinking it"
"At least I didn't betray her" Drex says leaving.
*back to Violet*
Soon Drex returns.
"Hey, what took you?" I ask
"Oh ran into Kayleen"
"Oh.. what did she want?" I ask
"Asking if I was just using you and saying you switch up on people" he says
"Oh" I simply say
"I told her I don't believe her" he says
*Parking lot*
"Yeah, but that was werid of you to say"
"It's just a feeling I get" he says
"You know Drex we don't have to do this" I say
"Do what?" He asks
"You and me. I don't need someone else to betray me"
"Betray you? I just defended you behind your back" he says
"Okay and you brought up them writing a tabloid about you" I say getting annoyed
*Drex lightly places his hands on Violet's face*
"Please look at me" he says
*She looks up at him*
"Yeah?"
"I'm not using you for anything. I see a future with you... and I've been waiting to tell you this but you give me a feeling I haven't felt in years"
"What feeling is that?!" I ask
"Love Violet. I'm inlove with you." He says
My jaw drops and my eyes widen
"Y-your what?!" I ask
"Yes, I'm inlove with you" he says smiling
I furrow my brows "Since when?!"
"Since I asked you to be my girlfriend" he says
{He's inlove with me? It's only been a month I'm not sure if I feel it yet... should I tell him? I don't need another messy relationship in the public eye}
"Violet?" He asks
I snap back to reality "I'm sorry Drex I can't say it back yet"
"It's okay, I just thought I'd let you know how I feel" he says
"I appreciate that and I care about you a lot but I don't know yet" I say
"It's alright"
"No it isn't, you deserve better than me and-"
Drex cuts me off by kissing me passionately I kiss back.
"I love you and I'm okay with waiting until your ready but that doesn't mean I'm giving you up" he says laughing
I chuckle "Good I'd cry if you did"
"And you are the best I don't need better I have you, your the best and I love you" he says smiling
I smile "You always know what to say huh?" I ask
"It's true babygirl" he says smiling
I smile and kiss his cheek "I care deeply for you Drex I'm just not wanting to make another mistake. This time when I walk down the isle I want it to be real. Holding hands with my mom and dad"
He smiles and kisses my forehead "I'll be here waiting for you as long as you want me"
"Oh I want you around so I can annoy you" I joke
He laughs "Oh jeez, that's all?" He jokes back
I laugh "I'm kidding but i probably will annoy you"
"And I can't wait to annoy you forever" he says
"You think this will be my forever after all?" I ask
"I'm pretty sure after some time" he says smiling
