*2 months after Violet and Drex's marriage*

Violet's POV

A lot has happened since we last talked *sighs* first things first Drex and I are separated. Yes after 2 months of marriage we are separated we have just been fighting a lot and we agreed some time a part might do us some good.  I seriously thought that he would be my forever after all why do I have to keep going through this shit? Like is the universe punishing me or something? Tonight is the MTV music awards Drex and I both will be attending God I can already hear the fans asking are y'all broke up? Will y'all get back together? And yes the media and tabloids know about our split... So that's fucking great.

*MTV music awards*

"Violet? Violet over here! Why did you and Drex split after 2 years together and 2 months of marriage?" A reporter asks

I sigh "I have nothing to say on the matter please drop it."

"Violet are you and Drex split up for good? Will there be babies in the future?"

I take a deep breath I should be used to this I've been in the industry for years longer than I've known Drex yet it's still difficult. I can't do this I maintain my composure then finish my red carpet walk and head to the restroom.

I look at myself in the mirror and shake my head {Why did I even show up tonight? I haven't even seen Drex yet and I'm already a mess}

Ariana comes in and hugs me tightly I hug back and bring down on her shoulder.

"Oh bae you are a bad bitch you don't need to do this. It will all work out ignore the tabloids I've talked to Dalton he said I can hang with you tonight if you want." She says rubbing my back

I nod wiping my tears "Uh little help with my make up?" I ask laughing

She smiles and helps me fix my make up then we head back out and take our seats as the show begins.

"Alright Everyone welcome to the 2022 MTV Music Awards how are we tonight? I'm your host John Cena!" 

The crowd goes wild I simply just clap and half smile Dalton hugs me I hug back "It will be alright sis tonight isn't about him tonight is about you. You are nominated for Best Pop song and you could win" Dalton says smiling 

I smile back "I can see why Ariana loves you so much she's very lucky to have someone as great as she is" 

"Thank you hopefully you'll find your forever" he says smiling 

"Alright Let's announce the winner of Best pop song of 2022 the winner is "Rain" By VIOLET JAMES!" John Cena announces 

I smile "Oh my god"

Ariana hugs me I hug back and head to the stage "Congrats Miss James" John says going off to the side.

I take a deep breath and smile "Wow Best pop song of 2022 thank you guys so much it's a huge honor and I can't thank everyone enough my amazing family, my amazing fans and supporters, my managers and porduction team I love you guys so much thank you!" I beam exiting the stage 

*After the show*

"Sweetie you won best pop song of 2022 how does it feel?" My mom asks 

"It's amazing mom and I can't believe it!" I beam 

"We are so proud of you princess" My dad says kissing my forehead 

I smile "I love you guys so much" 

"We love you too princess" Dad says smiling 

Drex appears behind my parents holding red roses. My mom smiles and drags my dad with her somewhere else. 

I take a deep breath "Hi.." 

"Hi.. Congrats by the way and these are for you." Drex says smiling 

I smile and take them "Thank you" 

"You're welcome you deserve them and so much more you are truly incredible" He says smiling 

"Thank you Drex.... It was good seeing you again..." I say 

"Yeah you too.." he says 

"Drex?" I ask 

"Yes ba- I mean yes Violet?" He asks 

"Did you just?" I ask 

"Yeah I'm sorry force of habit what were you gonna say?" He asks 

I don't say anything but crash my lips onto his he kisses back running his hands down my back. 

*A little later*

"Well, Didn't expect that to happen tonight" I say laughing 

"What? Us having sex backstage at the MTV Music Awards?" Drex asks 

"Exactly. Drex what does this mean for us?" I ask 

"I have no idea. it's normal for couples to fight but we were fighting a lot V and maybe our relationship became toxic" He says 

"I hate to admit it but I think you are right so what do we do?" I ask 

He sighs "It kills me to say this but maybe we should move on? I will always love you Violet but maybe we just weren't meant to be" He says kissing my forehead 

"Drex... I'll always love you too So I'll send divorce papers tommrow and make this offical?" I ask 

"Yea... I guess you could" He says 

"Maybe you are right maybe we need to move on" I say 

"Yea I'm gonna go got to meet up with Chole and Jasmine." He says 

"Okay." I say nodding then leaving myself
