I watched intensely as the cold wind blew his curly hair in different directions.

The twinkly lights in the sky danced in his eyes.

His lips parted in an attempt to say something, but I watched as they closed back.

'I've fucked up'

I shoved my hands in my pockets and turned to walk away.

I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me back.

That's when I felt it.

I felt is soft lips on my cheek.

Even though it was just a small peck, it felt more than that.

Suddenly all the noises in the background faded and all I could hear was my rapid heart beat.

I stared into his flustered eyes and watched as his face mirrored my expression.

"B-bye" He quickly said before turning away.

I sighed as I watched him slam the door in my face.

But I didn't have time to care or respond with a sarcastic remark.

Instead I just stood there, my hand on my chest and the other on my cheek.

"Hey (Your name), you ready to go?"

I was a bit startled by the voice but then turned around to see my friends standing there.

"Y-yeah- right, let's go."
