Chapter 7

Harry's POV

It was Saturday, the end of the school week, the weekend. I was relieved, even though I had no real reason to be. Niall and I have been skipping school since what happened with Matt and his mates. Niall and I didn't want to go to school, where we would be tormented by Matt, and questioned by others about our injuries.

Our bruises were basically healed by now, some yellowing, and others disappearing altogether. My injury on my shin is healing up real quick now, but is turning into an ugly scar.

Louis and Liam have been skipping school as well, no matter how much Niall and I tried to protest. Truth is, they don't really give a damn about school, so everything we said to try to convince them to go to school literally went through one ear and came out the other.

Louis and I have become real close, our friendship moving at a speed that I have never experienced before. It was nice though, comforting almost, to know that Louis will always be there for me, and I for him. That we will always have each other.

The same is going on with Liam and Niall, except maybe their friendship is a little bit...more, if you're catching my drift. They are always flirting, and kissing each other's cheeks, and Liam gives in to Niall all the time, spoiling him. It's kind of amusing, actually. All Niall has to do is pull out his killer puppy dog look, widening those childlike blue eyes off his, and Liam melts. It's cute.

Niall and I have also become close to Zayn, even though we don't see him nearly as much as we do Louis and Liam. Zayn still goes to school, even though he would much rather be with us, hanging out. He told us that his parents would kill him dead if they found out that he was skipping. Louis' and Liam's parents know that they are, but they also know that their sons are doing good, them being here with us, taking care of Niall and I. So they are somewhat okay with it. I, personally, think that their parents don't even bother arguing with them because they know that there is nothing they can do about it, so they just called and told the school that they were sick.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Louis surprised me, plopping himself onto my lap, and wrapping his arms around my neck. I blinked a few times, registering that he was there, and found him beaming at me, his blue eyes sparkling with happiness. I couldn't help but smile back and wrap an arm around his waist. It wasn't like I wasn't used to this type of affection. Louis and I are both the cuddly type, so we're all over each other.

At the moment, we were alone at home, spending some quality time together...not that we needed it, though. We've been spending literally every moment together for the past couple of days. Liam had gone out to who-knows-where with Niall. I was pretty sure that they had taken him to Nando's, because he was complaining about being hungry when they left. Zayn said that he would meet them, but he had to stop at home first.

I stared down at Louis, getting lost in his sea blue eyes that stared into mine with nothing but love and care. I felt my heart accelerate, and quickly tore my gaze away from his, fixing it above Louis' head, so I wouldn't have to look at him.
