The agent fell to the ground, where all of his comrades lay. Hank didn't spend even a second to think about what he had done, he just ran to the next  room, eager to slaughter the rest of the agents in this building. At this point, they didn't know why the agency tried to stop them, they were never successful, not even close, but they still tried. Hank went through the rooms of the building, killing agent  after agent after agent after agent after agent. A few soldats and engineers appeared, but they were barely a challenge to Hank, he just killed without hesitation. After a few minutes, everyone had been killed, but the agency was sure to call in some backup, and he wasn't gonna hang around for that. Hank was making their way towards the exit when they heard a sound
A soft meow from a nearby room
Hank turned around, trying to locate the source of the sound. There it was again! It seemed to be coming from the room on his left. Hank burst in to see a cat in a cage in the corner of the room. It looked starved and weak, like it hadn't been taken care of properly. Hank knelt beside the kitty and unlocked the cage. It didn't move, it just stared at Hank with wide eyes. Hank gently reached in and scooped it up. No way was he leaving it here
Hank dashed out of the room and right into a group of engineers. Backup had arrived, but they were still as useless at stopping Hank as the first wave had, especially now that he'd seen what they did to that cat. Hank ran outside the building, killing a duo of agents outside and raced off into the distance.
Hank walked into the base. No one was there. He set the cat down on the floor and got out a bowl of water. The cat instantly began to drink it, lapping it up faster than the AAHW could call backup. Hank didn't say anything, just quietly stroked the cat.
The cat nuzzled Hank's hand and purred. If Hank could smile, he would be doing it now
