No more-Chrisnarr angst

"What have we.....what have we done, Christoff?"

Everyone was dying, there were Zeds everywhere, the place was a mess.
"Hofnarr, we had to do this, remember?"
Hofnarr wants listening, he was still in shock. Did he......did he really do all this? Did he really cause all of this suffering?

Christoff could see how upset his husband was.
"There was no other way" he said "it had to be done".
"Couldn't of we saved some of them, Christoff?! Why did we have to condemn everyone to a life of agony?!" Hofnarr spat in a sudden burst of rage.
"We did save some of them, remember? The ones in the Industrial Sector with the Sheriff, they'll survive" Christoff replied.
"What about the rest of them?!"
"All mindless worshippers of Phobos, they had to go"
Hofnarr couldn't argue any further, but it still felt....wrong to do this.
"I can't believe I went through with this, I-I can't believe-"
"Hofnarr"
Christoff put a hand on his husband's shoulder, only to be greeted by an angry smack.
"We've just killed thousands, we're criminals, Christoff".
Now Christoff was starting to get annoyed. "Did you not listen to a single thing I said? I said that the cost would be dearly, but it would be worth it"
"No, it's not worth it"
Hofnarr was mad.
"There was surely another way, a-another way without so much death, without so much madness"
"Hofnarr, there was no other way"
"You're a monster"
Christoff stared in shock.
"You're a sick bastard, you're a fucking sadist, I can't believe you"
"Hofnarr-"
"No more, no more. No more of this. It's over between us Christoff, this is the last straw. We're done".

Christoff didn't even know what to say anymore.
Did I just lose my husband?

He watched as Hofnarr ran away, fired up his jet pack and departed from the scene.

It was all worth it.......right?
