Super 17 Saga

Several days later, the gang still have no leads on the dark star dragonballs, and the radar is turning up nothing. "This is insane...why can't we find them?" Bulma complains, as a report comes in on the news. Everyone gathers around the tv in CC HQ, as a reporter starts.

"North City, East City, and South City have all been hit with devastating attacks...authorities have no idea who or what could have caused all this chaos, but West City, so far, has been spared...we hope someone can help the innocent civilians of the other major cities, and help put the ones behind this behind bars."

"Damn it...all right, we'll split up. Gohan, you take Goten and Trunks to North City. Vegeta and my brother will take East City. Nappa, Raunch, and myself will take South City..." Raditz takes over control.

"And what if they strike here?" Vegeta asks in his scowling scowl.

"Then we deal with that...18 and 16 are in the city as well, they can handle things." True enough, 18 arrives with her husband and daughter to get debriefed. Then, the teams all split up.

Starting with Goten, Gohan, and Trunks, North City is currently being assaulted by bots. Nameless, faceless, chrome body bots. They are using lasers to attack everyone and the city itself. The bots are easy enough for Gohan to handle, and a Super Saiyan Goten and Trunks are taking care of them too. Once all the bots are cleaned up, Gohan is quick to check and see if everyone's ok. Trunks and Goten rush to stop a building from falling, and Gohan has to rush over and help.

Now, over in East City, Vegeta and Kakarot are busy handling some nasty hounds. More bots made by Gero, who seem to feast on ki. Vegeta resorts to using raw strength, while kid Kakarot is dancing around them all with his size and speed, making them all crash into each other, ending in a huge pile...which Vegeta promptly destroys.

Finally, in South City, Raunch is being overwhelmed by goblin sized bots. Raditz and Nappa are handling things well enough, but Raunch is struggling, even in Super Saiyan. "DAD!" She cries out, forcing Raditz to rush to her aid, leaving Nappa to fend off the go-oh, and they're all dead. Turns out Nappa is still a brutal fighter, preferring to work on his own. Raditz is quick to clean up the small creatures and save his daughter. "Well...seems like that's done...I'll see if everyone's ok. Raunch, Nappa, head back to West City."

While everyone else returns to West City, Raditz is left all alone when Gero and 19 arrive. "Well well, seems like you took care of our creations...too bad for you, I gave #19 some upgrades." 19 then splits his chest open to reveal a much large ki siphoning device than the ones in his hands. "Give up now Saiyan, or we will drain you of all your energy."

"All my energy you say? How can you when you're far slower than me at this point?" Raditz doesn't use a Super form, as he makes short work of 19, turning him to scrap metal quite easily to the surprise of Gero. Though, as Raditz goes to finish off the evil doctor, he's not too focused to dodge a sudden blast from behind!

"What? Who would dare attack a warrior from behind?" It's none other than...17? But he's off on an island, protecting the wildlife there. No, this one is clearly different, and he's flanked by a nasty looking Gero. "I should have expected a trick from you Gero..." But even Dr Gero is confused by this turn of events, as a news crew arrives on scene to broadcast the events going on.

It's a good thing that the news was covering it too, as 18 sees it now. "Oh, come on...what is my brother doing out there...and why are there two Geros?" Krillin steps over, holding his daughter in his arms.

"Well, maybe it's not the normal Gero...maybe he somehow found a way to clone himself? Which makes no sense, you and 17 DID destroy him."

"I have a theory...maybe he came back from a different timeline...it would explain why there's two of them, and why they've come back after so long..." Gine adds in her two cents about the situation.
