During the report, I was still dazed by Quinn's audacity to say what she said.

I silently thanked Aaron Neil for not calling on me for any of the questions. In The Report, Daniel eliminated two girls, which were Luna Frey, a Three from Onttaro and Lila Jackson, a Five from St. George.

After that, hours turned into days and days turned into weeks. The competition was dragging by. They days and moments were all mushed together of breakfast, the women's room, and dinner. But I could distinctly rember any date I had with Daniel. He spent a lot of time going on dates with other girls, he knew the public would want something to watch. I didn't mind, I knew he was doing it for our future, for us.

Two other girls had gotten eliminated: Jesse Arlington, a Six from Dominica and Nellie. I kind of missed her at dinner time to time, but I knew it would be mean of Daniel to get her hopes up for nothing.

After that we were down to fourteen girls. That night at dinner, Daniel gave some exciting news: The palace was hosting a ball to mark the beginning of fall. Originally, it was called "The Fall Ball". He said we didn't need to do any planning, but will be attending the event. The way we act would determine the elimination.

I mouthed to him if we could meet up after and he gave me a nod. Dinner was exceptional, which consisted of delicous Weiner shnitzel.

Once everyone cleared out, Daniel and I met in the center of the room. "Hey," He said.

"I liked your idea about the ball." I said, twirling a peice of my hair. "But-uh-how should I act?"

Daniel laughed. "You'll do fine, Aria. Just speak to guests and make small talk. There will be music, so I'll try to dance with you all."

I nodded. "When will it be?"

"Three days," Daniel answered.

"Three days?" I gawked. "How can that happen in three days?"

"We just so happen to have an army of staff," Daniel responded. I laughed and he joined in.

"Oh, and also Daniel, I need to tell you about something."

"Alright."

"So Quinn got very mad at me the other day. She said a lot of hurtful stuff and I'm still kind of emotional about it."

"I'm sorry!" He held my hands and I blushed. "She can be so mean sometimes. I can talk to her about it."

"Thanks, Daniel." Before I left, he grabbed me and kissed me. I smiled underneath his lips and thought about our wonderful future.
