"I cannot walk through the suburbs in the solitude of the night without thinking that the night pleases us because it suppresses idle details, just as our memory does."
- Jorge Luis Borges

Tzuyu came back with a stoic look on her face. I assumed it was nothing since she always had that face but something was wrong. Very–
–wrong...
They had already left me to clean up after our mess. To get the arrows that were still on the targets, arrange the gear, put the bows back where they belong.
I was only waiting for Mina to show up. Well it had been well over 15 minutes since I started waiting. I still had work to do for the company.
When she still didn't arrive after another 5 minutes, I decided to clean up on my own.
She totally ditched me...

I sighed.
Finally, I'm finished.
I sat down on the bench near the range. I sipped on my pocari sweat. [not sponsored]
Thank god I baited Tzuyu with the rock paper scissors. I always win.
. . .
The sound of crunchy footsteps got my attention. I looked up to see the penguin I've been waiting for. Well 'waited' for.
"Where the hell were you?" I asked as I closed my bottle.
She stayed quiet. I took my time to scan her. She had messy hair. Her hair was covering her face and she had a tight grip on her backpack. She didn't look okay.
I just sighed.
"Look, if you don't want to talk about it, you can just sit here." I patted the space beside me. She just sniffled and sat down. I stood up but she grabbed my wrist.
"No... D-don't leave m-me..." She mumbled as she sobbed. There she was. The girl I met that very night on the bridge.
I noticed the bruises that lined up on her arm as her sleeve fell when she grabbed me. She saw me eyeing it. She looked up and her eyes went wide. She frantically tried to cover her arm.
I quickly held her hand, stopping her as she cried.
"Where's this from!?" I gestured to her arm.
"I-it's n-nothing..." She hung her head low.
