The Tsaritsa was awaiting you three, she stood there ready with a bunch of boxes next to her throne.

"Scaramouche, Signora" she looked over at you "and Y/N"

'I hate these meetings...'

"I thought of being a little generous and decided to help you out with this Gnosis. We know that the Raiden Shogun has been collecting Visions from her people"

The other two were silent, Scaramouche didn't seem to even pay attention, Signora on the other hand listened very closely.

"The Raiden Shogun has made a strict rule, which means there will always be rule-breakers. A rebellion was formed over the past few years by the Divine Priestess on Watatsumi Island"

"And what has any of this to do with us?" Scaramouche interrupted her, annoyed. You looked at The Tsaritsa, then back to him, no one you knew has ever dared to speak while she was explaining and giving orders, but The Balladeer sure had nothing to fear. The Tsaritsa put up her hand at him and continued,

"You Scaramouche, will be helping the rebellion, by giving out delusions to the soldiers. This will slow their process of attacking the Shogun or any of her soldiers."

He seemed to like the idea and just nodded.

"But wouldn't that injure them? I thought this whole Gnosis collecting thing was gonna be peaceful!"

Scaramouche and Signora turned to you.

"Why do you even care about any of those lifes? They're gonna die either way, may it be in a war or to a delusion" Signora shook her head.

"Well, I'm sorry if some of those people might have a family"

Signora glared at you, Scaramouche just chuckled next to her.

"You're pathetic to think their life is important. No one will remember them after their death anyways, so stop whining" Scaramouche turned back to the Tsaritsa,

"I will gladly help the rebellion, your Majesty"

She nodded and snapped her fingers, making the boxes dissappear, one by one.

"Your ship is loaded, Balladeer. We'll give you a month time, report to us about your process. Signora and Y/N will then come and get the Gnosis"

He nodded and turned around to leave, looking at you one more time before doing so.

"Any questions?" The Tsaritsa asked while walking back to her throne.

"No, your Majesty" Signora said and bowed down, taking you with her while she left the throne room.

"Maybe I had a question?" you freed your arm from her grip and looked at her.

"Whatever it was, it's not important." she said and walked out of the Zapolyarny Palace.

"What makes you think that?"

"Your reasoning from before was useless enough, don't waste her time with your presence."

You huffed and shook your head. Now that you finally were out of the gathering, you could focus on your wounds. You checked every wounded part, checking if it was anything serious.

"I don't even know if I can send you back to his home, who knows when his lust for fighting comes out again.." she groaned and rubbed her eye.

"I can manage"

"I don't care if you can manage. If he injures you to the point of death, then I might have a problem" Signora looked over to you, also quickly checking your wounds with her eye. She sighed,

"Go home for today. You're way too tired for work occasions" she turned back around.

"I'll do fine! I'm not even ti-"

"Don't. Talk back. Just go and get your rest before I change my mind"

"Fine..."

You turned into the different direction and walked down the snowy road to Tartaglias home. The fight woke you up and you weren't even that tired anymore, if only he had attacked you in the morning. The wind was picking up and it began to get really cold.

"Are you serious...ugh, I can't afford myself getting sick.." you thought of a faster way to get to his house, then came up with something. You turned the snowy road under you into a thin and sturdy surface of ice, then you started to slide down, putting the road behind you back to its normal state. Enjoying the fast ride and the scenery you were sliding past, his home was getting closer and you had to stop. To your luck, he was also back home.

"Y/N! Nice timing comrade" he smiled and looked at you, then down to your wounds.

"Yeeesh...I should've really not attacked you in your tired state.." he scratched his head.

"I'm still alive aren't I? Also, the fight woke me up a little, so it was a good idea. Thanks" you smiled back at him. He chuckled and opened the door, entering and closing the door behind you two right after.

"How was the meeting?" he asked while going into the kitchen, grabbing a few things to drink, offering you one.

"It...was alright" you answered while grabbing the drink he offered you.

"Did anything exciting happen? New infos about the Inazuma mission?" he took a sip from his drink. You nodded and explained the Tsaritsas plan, his eyes widened and he nearly choked on his drink.

"Are you alright?!" you quickly walked up to him and pat his back to try and help him. He nodded and smiled through the choking,

"The Tsaritsa really planned that?"

You nodded.

"Hmh..the will of the Tsaritsa confuses me sometimes"

"Me too.." you also took a sip from your drink.

It was silent for a while, until he asked you another question.

"How is your partnership with Signora coming along?" he sat down on a chair and looked at you. You rolled your eyes and just shrugged.

"It's a pain. I don't get her at all! She's just, so complicated!" you rubbed your face and looked down. He laughed. You were confused,

"What's so funny?"

"It kind of sounds like you two are not in a partnership" he smiled. Your eyes widened,

"You little-! Ugh.." you shook your head and stood up, not wishing him any good nights this time, you walked over to the guest room and closed the door shut, leaning on the door while looking at the sealing.

'We have about a month time to prepare ourselves and get the Gnosis...'

You kneeled down and looked at the floor,

'What are we supposed to do in the mean time?'

You thought about the Traveller and Paimon, wondering how they're doing so far and if they had any process to find their sibling.

'Wish I could've stayed a little longer to help them..' you sighed and stood up, lying down in the bed while looking out the window.

'I have a month, to proof my worth...a month with her...'

You dug your face into the pillow and felt a little warm. It was a strange feeling, which you quickly ignored. You laid there a few minutes before falling asleep, with the soft shine of the sunset shining on your face.
