The last thing you remembered were the desperate cries of your friends and lover, calling out to you, before waking up in a strange place. You raised an eyebrow and turned around, looking all over the different corners of this strange environment. It wasn't Sumeru, neither was it Snezhnaya nor the other Nations.

"What even is this place? Am I dead? AM I DYING?!" you panicked and tried to find a way out, but just as you moved from one place to another, it never contained an exit. Out of nowhere, your Delusion appeared on the floor, glowing.

"This is all your fault...if you didn't have these big side effects. I wouldn't be here right now!" you grabbed it and tossed it away with a strong throw, sighing in relief when something hit you on the head,

"Ouch!" you groaned and turned around, only to see your Delusion back on the floor.

"You're like a curse, you know that?" you stared at it for a while, "and there really is no way to cure it.."

You sat down and took your Delusion into your hands keeping it close to you while closing your eyes.

"If you had a wish right now, what would it be?" a voice echoed through the place, startling you.

"Who said that?!" you quickly stood up and summoned an ice-sword, ready to fight.

No response.

"If you had a wish right now, what would it be?" the voice repeated. You felt a warm glow around your one hand and looked at it, your Delusion was the one who spoke.

"Don't tell me you can actually talk..."

"Shall I repeat one more time?" the Delusion asked.

"Okay, okay! I'll answer, just let me think.."

You held onto your moth-shaped clip that was pinned on your clothing which Signora gifted you.

'Strange..she said this would protect me from anything bad..yet it didn't stop me from using my Delusion..'

"My wish is to protect her and be the best girlfriend she has ever had." you whispered the next sentence to yourself, " and maybe, possibly future wife..."

The Delusion glew and asked another question,

"Why is it that you wish to protect her so badly? You could wish for anything you want now, so why protect an immortal like her?"

You smiled and shrugged,

"Guess I'm just an idiot who's in love? She has brought me a lot of joy into my life, even if she had treated me badly the first few times, but she had her reasons and I respect them. I admire her"

The Delusion was quiet.

"Don't know if you might understand this though-..I mean you're an object with a gods soul but still.." the Delusion glew and engulfed you in light,

"I will grant you your wish under one condition human" it spoke.

"What would that be?"

"Find a way to get me out."

You widened both of your eyebrows and squinted your eyes at the Delusion,

"How am I supposed to manage that!?"

The Delusion chuckled and sent you away,

"You'll find a way"

The bright light blinded you and made you raise your arms to at least try and cover your eyes, only to be back in your normal reality, with Signora next to you. She was holding your hand tightly and sitting next to your bed, waiting for you to wake up.

"Signora?" you looked at her.

Her eye widened,

"Y/N! I thought you were..I thought I lost you..." her voice went quiet and she looked away, trying to toughen out her sadness. You on the other hand felt overjoyed to see her all healthy and normal, hugging her tightly,

"I'm so glad you're okay! And I'm sorry for using my Delusion.."

Signora didn't care about any of that right now, she just wanted to feel the warmth and happiness of you again.

"Where are we? And what happened?"

The room you were in wasn't your hotel, it must've been someone else's home.

"Azalea has brought us into her hidden castle, you remember the one in the field full of tulips?"

You nodded,

"But..what do you mean her castle. She's a clone, isn't this Kusanalis?"

"Lesser Lord Kusanali has thought about...a lot of things. Including the recollection of her clones and dealing with all of her responsibilities on her own now. "

"Then that means, the clones are gone and that makes her Azalea..?"

"So it seems. We have also brought the Balladeer with us, I have already contacted the Tsaritsa about our success, so we don't have to worry about that later."

"Wow, you guys managed a bunch of things without me..."

"What can I say? It's my job as a Snezhnayan Diplomat" she smirked and seemed proud. You chuckled and looked at your body,

"Looks like the pain isn't going to leave any time soon huh?"

She looked at them too and felt bad, some of the burnt ones were her fault, she gently stroke one wound and then another.

"I apologise...it's all my fault that this happened. If I hadn't lost my nerves to that brat-!"

Scaramouche sure was a different kind of being. He had no mercy fighting all of you, and also he had no sense of stopping his mischievous acts and plans. Thanks to Azalea though, he was defeated.

You put your hand on her head and pat her,

"You did nothing wrong. You protected me and I protected you. And I would do it again at any given time." you moved your hand to her face and gently stroke it. "I will make sure to protect you at all cost" you smiled. She was all flustered and just smiled, shaking her head,

"Don't risk your own life just for me. Who knows when the next time you do it..it'll be your last." Signoras expression changed. You shook your head and quickly gave her a kiss on her forehead.

"I'm only safe until I always know that you are too" you stared into her eye. She sighed with a smile and shook her head,

"Let's go to the others. They've been waiting for a few hours now" she stood up and gave you her hand. You slowly got up and grabbed her hand, ready to go out and greet the others.
