The ship arrived back at Snezhnaya and you woke up stretching. Even if you did sleep for hours, this sleep did not feel refreshing at all. Signora was already up and ready to leave the ship.
"How did you sleep?" she turned her head to you.
"Could've been a better sleep..." you sighed and stood up, walking up to her.
Signora moved her hands up to your shoulders and gently squeezed them, leaning her head down to your right shoulder, "Dear, are you ready for the meeting?" she asked you.
You thought a little and your hand moved down to your Delusion, squeezing it lightly, "I think so...but I want to do something first before we go to her."
She lifted her head back up and looked at you, "Oh? And that is?"
You looked at her nervously and pointed down to your Delusion. Signora understood, "Do you want me to come with you?"You shook your head, Signora nodded and kissed your cheek, taking your hand and walking outside with you. The two of you were greeted by a Cicin Mage,
"Lady Signora and Lady Y/N, welcome home. Your prepared vehicle back to the Zapolyarny Palace is already waiting for you." the Mage looked at you, "and...Lord Il Dottore awaits you..."
Signora frowned, "Awaits her? What does he want from her?!"
The Cicin Mage looked scared and just shook her head, "I don't know what he wants from her...but he said–" the Mage was interrupted,
"No need to further explain my order. I'm here now aren't I?" Dottore walked up to you three, smiling at you and Signora.
"Dottore. What's this all about?" Signora hissed at him.
He tilted his head and shrugged, "What should this be about? I'm just here for a chit-chat with Y/N. I will walk her to the Zapolyarny Palace, don't worry."
"Don't worry?! I have a lot to worry about when it's something you do, especially with Y/N." Signora glared at him. The Cicin Mage excused herself and walked away in a hurry, you looked at Signora and comforted her, patting her back gently.
"Shall we?" Dottore looked at you and waited. Signora glanced at you, not sure if she should let you go.
"After you." you said and looked at Signora before you left, giving her a comforting and reassuring expression.
The crunch of the snow beneath your feet was the only soothing thing that kept you calm. Dottore glanced over to you, down to your Delusion.
"I assume you got rid of her?" he asked.
"Yes...but. How'd you figure any of this out? Sending us to Sumeru and then Natlan?"
He chuckled, "Send? I didn't send you two off to anywhere. I just gave you a small recommendation."
"Then..how did you know...?"
"I didn't. This was a game of pure guessing and luck..and it seems like luck was on your side." he grinned.
You glared at him, "And what do you want from me?!"
He stopped and turned to you, leaning down to your face, having a far and good distance, "It was nice working with you Y/N. Thanks to you, I have learned quite a few more interesting things. I take it that you though, did not have a great time, which I suppose is understandable."
He tilted his head and moved his hand up to your hair, removing something that resembled a part from his clone, you couldn't make out what it was since it was burnt into such an awful and unrecognisable state. He stared at the piece and crushed it into pieces, turning his attention back to you,
