After time has passed and the night has replaced the day Kurt wakes up and gets out of his bed stretching yawning then theres a knock on his door
"M-mister Kurt are you awake and decent?" The voice asks "commander Redrick is waiting outside for you" it says again then the sound of light footsteps going away fades into the distance and kurt sighs
"Time to go to work" Kurt says and grabs his greatsword and longsword then sets them to his back and heads out the door. Coming down outside he sees Redrick his men and a female elf in her late teens with short cut black hair topaz colored eyes dressed in fine green robes with a amulet around her neck that has a dragons head on it that seems to be a holy symbol of sorts
"Who is she?" Kurt asks looking at the worried girl
"Her name is Iris Neverfall she is a rookie of mine and a cleric of the azure blades" Redrick explains
"I-It's nice to meet you" she says in a scared tone Kurt looking at her
"Sounds to me that shes....not all that confident" Kurt says looking at her with her looking saddened by this revelation
"Bite your tongue" Redrick says in a cold tone "we have a job to perform following me into the castle" he adds and signals his men and Iris to follow, kurt sighs following the group of soldiers into a huge ballroom of the castle full of people dressed nicely of silk and fine cloth with the king sitting at the end of the room in a fine chair with his wife and child with jugglers, fire eaters, musicans, and other whimsys entertaining the masses.
"Man this event is surely big with drink as well" Kurt says looking around
"Do not get to excited Merc" scolds Redrick "you are not here to enjoy the festivities you are here to protect the king meaning no drinking do you hear me?" He adds,Kurt slumps saddened by this decree then looks around a bit, smirking he slinks away from the group getting to a table of sorts serving drinks, taking a tankard he leans on a pillar watching the festivities. Meanwhile back in the azure blades HQ the unknown assassin wakes up from her rest hearing the festivities outside, she heads out of the room and then looks through the bedrooms of the floor shes on finding a spare uniform and starts to strip off her cloak showing her full body of a black attire consisting of a dark top that shows her cleavage with red wraps that reach up near her shoulders with black leather gauntlets and dark leather armor covering her upper shoulders and waist, pants as dark as night with a bandolier filled with three daggers on each side, with boots to match with short heels at the back of them, she then strips away her attire her body as pale as the moonlight, her lips as light blue as ice looking like some sort of makeup and a scar on her waist that looks like it was caused by a longsword of sorts, and stitches on her wrists. She then puts on the uniform keeping her collar buttoned up with two daggers hidden in the coat of the uniform then heads out of the HQ blending in with the guards of the castle fooling the guards of the castle and gets into the party with alot of people being merry and tries to keep calm and blend in among the crowd.
