chapter 28 the sewers

As the sun is setting the group gets to Tauro worn,tired,and in need of rest they see Tauro guards stop them

"By order of Tarvon himself we cannot let anyone pass into Tauro turn around and" he gets interrupted by a voice calling out

"Stand down hes fine along with his freinds" the voice calls out and coming to the gate is Redrick

"Apologies Redrick but Tarvon said" the other guard gets interrupted

"Tarvon is a weak little man let them in order maybe you all would not want protection for the night" Redrick says in a scolding voice and the guards look at each other scared and let the group in with Kurt glad to see him. As they head into Tauro in a old house not in the main street Redrick looks at Kurt a bit up and down seeing him in Ludofs old armor Synaes wolf pendent and his greatsword back in his posession

"I see you have found your mother and fathers chamber and the truth of the grey hounds" Redrick says

"Why didn't you tell me? You were a grey hound as well" Kurt says and Redrick sighs

"I only wanted to protect you Kurt so you could grow up to be a respectable man but now i know.....i can't change who you were as a mercenary this is your life" Redrick says and Kurt smiles a bit nodding

"Well going off from the sappy moment and everything we need to rest up for the night and head to Cragsin tomarrow so if your gonna give us room and board appriciate it" Raloran says

"Cragsin.....you all are going after dr thorn correct?" Redrick asks and the group "that will be tough seeing how she made Cragsin into a fortress" he says "after Thorn had taken over her and those freaks to this plane have built up that city to be a fortress and the people of Cragsin have been forced either to work as slaves or to become test subjects for her madness.....no offense to your freind there" Redrick says

"Eh none taken" Raloran says and Kurt thinks a bit

"There's got to be a way in we cant just let dr Thorn get away with this plus Raloran here has a score to settle" Kurt says and they hear a siren go off and everyone but Redrick look confused by this

"Don't be alarmed" Redrick says "it's just Tauros curfew siren Tarvon implimented it when the shadowkin arrived meaning we can't be out at night unless warrented by Tarvon himself and it lasts until 6 in the morning" Redrick explains "those seen out by the guards are shoved into the nearest building and if they fight back there taken to prison" he explains further

"Of cource Tarvon would do this trying to save his own behind i bet" Kurt says

"For now you all should rest we will talk about a plan tomarrow" Redrick says and leads the group up onto the second floor with four guest rooms

"Lucy wanted to have a family one day here in Tauro sadly.....she died before she could get her wishes...." Redrick says putting his hand on a doorframe "hmph i know she would have been a great mother...." he says smiling a bit "I'll see you all tomarrow morning sleep well" Redrick says walking off and as hes gone the group all pick a room and as night comes in each room Kurt is bulking up lifting some stuff up like weights,Laia focusing her senses accept her eyes firing mock bolts at some stuff,Magun looks up at the moon determined,and Raloran working on some schematics,and one use inventions and other stuff and looks at Cybel powered down thinking and starts working on something until the night ends. As the morning comes Kurt wakes up in his bed groggy he then hears snoring of sorts close by and he looks off getting up a bit from his bed he sees a large ash grey heterochromic eyed direwolf on the floor curled up asleep taking most of the room and Kurt thinks on it abit,meanwhile downstairs Redrick,Raloran and co are in the main room eating breakfest start to hear Kurt yell and Laia jumps up and rushes towrdshis yelling and the others follow ready and Magun kicks open thedoor seeing tbe large direwolf in his room and Kurt kinda panicking
