chapter 30 the final battle for Tamrisil

As the sun is starting to set the group starts to see the plains of Tamrisil with a large encampent far from Marron near the forests made of wooden pikes to be a safeguard and every sort of guard from the the sand-scorched guards of Gaumaka,the snowy soldiers of Tauro,the advanced military of Cragsin,even the hunters of Wyrnwor and what is left of the azure blades the group head in and getting out of the phantom crow Redrick sees them and goes to Kurt seeing he and the others are tuckered out

"I see you all are alive and well and even saved Venessa from dr Thorn you all have much progress you all deserve a rest" Redrick says "but before you do the four wants to shed some light on whats going on and plan the assult on Marron" he says and leads the group to a set up tent with the four city owners all waiting for the group arguing

"This is a suicide mission" Tarvon says in a worried tone

"Oh please for a halfling your a scardy cat" Boris says

"Atleast i am no greedy dwarf" Myvannavar says in a pompous attitude

"Oh please atleast he has the common sense to not stick to the dark ages like ya knife eared cow" Vanessa says

"We shouldn't have opened up that tomb far off from Tamrisil i knew it was cursed but you all wanted to delve deeper even if we were warned we were so stupid back then" Tarvon says

"Hold on whats this about a tomb???" Kurt asks and from there arguing they see the group and Redrick came in and they all go silent looking at each other and sigh knowing they cannot hide it any longer

"It was.....a long time ago during the early years of Tamrisil Erin,Boris,Tarvon,Vanessa and I were young adventurers with the thirst for adventurer and we heard about the tomb of shadows a old tomb placed out on a isle just near Tamrisil we had heard it was full of artifacts of old and riches of our wildest dreams" Myvannavar says "we went to the tomb hoping for riches going through trap after trap we head further and further down to the depths of the tomb til we got the inner chamber with a large egg shaped artifact a ominous black with a single golden eye wrapped in chains etched with runes on them we saw this as a danger and Erin our leader told everyone not to touch or release this artifact he was our holy knight and could sense a great evil to this thing everyone listened.....accept our sixth member Sorig Erins brother" Myvannavar explains

"Aye Sorig was a hasty man hated his brother for always being on top of everything he wanted to be leader but was not holy enough for the gods to send him magic like his brother so while Vanessa and Tarvon were looking at the description of artifact Sorig touched the egg shaped artifact which caused it to wraith itself in black hues crying from its eyes the black as you seen" Boris says

"I-it consumed Sorig we couldn't do anything once it consumed him the artifact turned into a mist absorbed into Sorigs body and he changed becoming that of a monster we tried to stop him but we were weak and he had escaped Erin was devestated" Tarvon said rubbing his arm

"Indeed but it was not all lost upon reading the old text that i have found in the antichamber the land Tamrisil is rich in history before our time a land created by the five avatars of each element sand,snow,mountain,forest,and there leader light it was peaceful but there was a darkness lurking the avatar of shadows it was dangerous volitile and spread plague and darkness onto Tamrisil when the five saw what it was doing they fought back and sealed the dark avatar into the tomb with what little magic they had and created the runes to be sure if the darkness were to spread again heros chosen by the avatars can use them to banish the evil to bring peace back to the lands and so we did but there was a price to pay i didn't tell Erin until near the end" Vanessa says looking saddened

"What was the price?" Kurt asks curious and Vanessa takes a bit to keep her composure

"Though we had the runes......it was not enough in order to successfully banish the avatar of shadows back to its slumber we had to exocise the spirit out of Sorigs body though that would mean we had to kill him.....Erin was devestated he could not believe this and so instead of exoising the avatar we banished Sorig along with the avatar but Sorig was strong and Erin knew he could not keep him there for long.....so he asked me to find a way to try and seperate the two sadly i could not and now....he is dead...." Vanessa said and the others hang there heads in emberressment knowing this is true and the group even Redrick are astounded
