At the tavern and inn the four are sitting at a table Raloran,Kurt,and Magun are drinking and Kurt sighs a bit and Raloran is looking at him
"You still thinking on your parents?" Raloran asks
"It's that easy to see?" Kurt asks "I just i wish i knew how they could become demons and what i can do to even stop it" Kurt says hanging his head a bit low in thought
"Plus what Tarvon said got me curious if king Erin was as kind as he known for he lend Tarvon troops to help defend and take back the lands" Lady says "Boris as well especially if unusual things have been happening to them" Lady says but Raloran sets down his mug chugging it down
"Bah we are halfway to becoming rich and you two are over thinking it" Raloran says "your parents are probably demons because they have unfinished buissness and the kings probably just some prideful arsehole underneath his humbleness" he adds "you know what we need?" Raloran asks and the others look confused "a bounty" he says and jumps off the chair and walks to the bounty board with Cybel
"Our job is to find the runes we do not have time for other jobs" Lady says
"Oh come on it will be fun maybe get into some hijinks,face powerful foes,get grand treasures" Raloran says "and maybe toughen up a bit you all saw the last fight we almost got creamed and a job is perfect for training" Raloran says and Kurt thinks a bit on it
"He does have a point Lady i mean a bit more training wouldn't hurt and if we get more wealth well thats a bonus" Kurt says and walks over to the board and pulls off a paper and looks at it "the white death" Kurt says reading the title "it says that the harbor village of Thawfall is mostly covered in ice and that the village elder requested people to check on the reason the elder is in the city for the time being with some of his people he wants the head of the monster and will pay hansomely" he reads more
"Best we talk to the elder maybe he seen the monster in question" Lady says and the others nod heading off and at a building they see a old looking bald man with a walking stick fashioned from a old whaling harpoon with men,women,and children about all scared and cold some frostbitten a bit others with whole limbs incased in ice or a deep purple
"Uh hello we seen your quest on the mercenary board at the tavern you are the elder right?" Kurt says
"Ah i am glad that someone has glimpsed it" the elder says "yes i am elder Glacis of village Thawfall" Glacis says
"The monster that attacked did you see what it was?" Kurt asks
"Not so much it flew so fast barely anyone could react to its icey breath but its bellowing roar....it was deeply frightening" Glacis explains
"Where did it go?" Lady asks
"My people said it flew out to sea furthest from the dock of our village sadly it destroyed all of our boats so you will have to think of a way to follow it" Glacis says
"Thank you for all the info you had" Kurt says and they head off and they stop infront of the Land Treader "so what are we thinking cold breath,flying,lives in cold climates i think it might be a dragon" Kurt says
"Bullshrock dragons haven't been around sense the advancement of technology they say the roaring of machines scared them off" Raloran says "the only dragon things left are those gods of theres like that one Erin believes
"I hardly believe that my dad told me that a dragon isn't scared of anything because it was the most frightful monster in the world" Kurt explains
"Yeah? What you chickening out??" Raloran says chuckling
"Hey we fought a giant twin headed wolf I'm not scared of anything come on" Kurt says leading the others. On the road with tbe Land Treader Kurt's driving,Raloran in the passanger seat,and Lady watching out the window with Magun the four start to see a village with its buildings partly frozen and spires of ice pointing upward and a good portion of the waters iced over
