chapter 6 the Desert City of Gaumaka

Keeping the Land Treader on the road Kurt is driving it,raloran is sitting on a cushioned bench in the Land treaders command room tinkering at Cybel a bit,Lady is training her stabs on her own,and Magun is meditating on the floor sitting crisscross

"Hey Raloran you know machines does this thing have some sort of like self driving or whatever? My arms and legs are killing me!" Kurt calls out

"Yeah its the red button!" He yells out and Kurt is about to press it but stops

"Are you sure!?" Kurt yells out

"Yeah!" Raloran says smirking and Kurts about to press it "wait no!! Green!!! Green button red's the self destruct button!!" He yells out

"Self destruct!?" Kurt yells out shaky from the close call and Raloran laughs

"You dumbass theres no self destruct on these things that just turns off the engine of the Land treader!" He says still laughing hysterically "you should have seen your face it was like you were gonna shit yourself!" He says.

"Haha very funny" Kurt says peeved then presses the green button and the steering wheel retracts into the dashboard he then gets up stretching a bit walking to the others. "Sooooo has anyone been to Gaumaka before?" Kurt asks looking at the others and Magun shakes his head no

"Eh been there once or twice on buissness with Cybel now it's gonna be thrice hope theres some good jobs" Raloran says heading off with Cybel finishing his tinkering. As he does Kurt looks over at Lady looking off through the wide window to the side in thought of something

"You ok?" Kurt asks Lady looks confused in her dazed look and Kurt looks outside seeing the city of Gaumaka a large city of machinery with iron buildings of sorts with a huge building in the center of the city a huge palace with pointed spherical roofs colored yellow with ten tall tower like structures three on the sides two on the front and back by the looks

"Lady???" Kurt calls out and snaps his fingers infront of her snapping her out of it and she shakes her head confused,she sees Kurt with her and sighs and walks off "wait you ok???" Kurt says but she just walks off from him. Kurt sighs a bit then feels the Land Treader stopping then grabs his greatsword and longsword getting to the others at the side door hatch and it opens up as Raloran presses a button and they see a huge city much like Marron but it seems to be more full of stores and shops on each street with them cramped with people and the smell of spices waff the air and the sound of bombastic music is heard throughout the city. Kurt looks around a bit suprised by the change in scenery with Raloran,Magun,and Lady doing the same kinda following him

"Amazing totally different than Marrons city" Kurt says

"Eh you see one you see them all lets hit a Tavern to find some jobs" Raloran says in Cybels pack walking but Kurt follows then stops them

"Hey earth to rodent??? Were on a job already" Kurt says

"For starters don't call me rodent" Raloran says "secondly earth to humie we need coin if were gonna survive remember???" He says

"Im just saying we can get coin on the side hunting monsters in taverns they have a trophy system for soldiers and mercenaries alike so as long as we hunt monsters and bandits of the right group we can focus on the main mission at hand" Kurt says "besides who knows maybe the leads of the cities will give us a reward for some thing or other" he adds "what you think Lady?" Kurt asks but gets no response then looks off where she was standing seeing shes not there anymore "Where she go??" Kurt asks looking around then see Cybel,Raloran,and Magun dissapear and Kurt looks around confused. Meanwhile Lady is walking around on the street looking around the bustling street looking around deep into her own thoughts then as she starts to look down at a street in her daze she starts to feel her head feeling a headache of sorts making her fall onto one knee,Kurt finds her and rushes to her aid "Lady you ok???" Kurt asks worried for her offering a hand
