chapter 12 the Encampment

In Gymnuras room they all see it is full of maps and weaponry and theres a half orcish woman her skin a dark green hair as black as night shortly cut wearing the same necklace that is on Gymnura and crimson plate mail with a gray cloak equiped with a huge axe behind her back

"Everyone this is Urzul she is my paladin assigned to keep me safe and fight by my side" Gymnura explains and Urzul grunts as if not much of a talker

"Uh glad to meet you" Kurt says akwardly then Gymnura brings out a map of the north that seems to be better in detail and everyone looks at it and it has a huge area circled to the south east

"These area i have circled on the map is a encampment being usee by the soldiers" Gymnura says "the soldiers are using this camp as some place of respite so Tarvons soldiers and guards must have went here maybe there still there or theres clues on where they are" she explains "so your task is pretty cut and dry slay the soldiers find Tarvons guard and send any captives back to Tauro" Gymnura explains further and Kurt looks at the map thinking looking at the area

"This use to be the old mcGardis family farm estate where they would grow turnips,beets,parsnips,celery root,carrots and potatoes and raise goats and aurochs" Kurt says

"Spot on Kurt guess you still remember your roots here in the north" Gymnura says "they took the farm a good while a go making it hard to get food around the city Tarvon told me thats where he sent them thinking thats where there attacking from and i think the same way" she explains "your job is pretty cut and dry get in there kill the soldiers finds Tarvon guards,find any clues on where they could be,and save any captives they have" Gymnura says

"Right with any luck they aren't dead and just been enslaved to farm up crops and raise the cattle" Kurt says

"Thats a best case scenario atleast" Gymnura says "sad i can't accompany you all with Urzul but Tarvon is such a scared little man that he does not want our tribe to leave the walls unless it is to defend" she explains

"It's fine were use to going alone anyways" Kurt explains

"Right I'm sorry I'm just itching for a fight waiting around on my butt all day" Gymnura says grumbling and the four heads out with Kurt thinking as he walks

"Whats on your mind?" Lady says

"Well I'm thinking we might not need the Land Treader sense it might attract to much attention" Kurt says looking at the Land Treader with her

"He is right such a bulky vehicle would be seen a mile away" she says and Magun nods

"Fine guess it's a good idea" Raloran says and they head out of the city. After a bit of time has passed on the road to the farming estate Kurt leading the others is looking at a map keeping his eyes on the road

"We should be nearing our destination soon" Kurt says

"you can both draw and read maps who taught you that?" Lady asks

"Oh uh my father did he always said that a map can be just as handy as a sword or a bow" Kurt says

"Hey that's some words of wisdom i can get behind" Raloran says "so you use to be a mercenary boy what was that like" he asks curious

"Uh it was normal really though when i became of age my dad recruited me in the lowest rank omega" Kurt says

"Omega?" Lady asks

"Yeah as a omega you are given tasks to do by the others basically the squire role" Kurt explains "then as a delta you are assigned to guarding the village and take in any sick or wounded that comes across,after that you have the beta basically the general and commander of the group,then you have the alpha and his luna my father and mother who led us" he explains further "we take in anyone willing to join we call them dissenters which brings in new blood to the table i remember i was a omega with my three brothers when we started" Kurt says
