After a few days have passed on a night the blackguard group is at a large Tavern in Marron with Redrick,Mariki,and the leaders of Tamrisil with men who have fought all joyfully enjoying the festivities with Raloran playing on his lute Magun playing drinking games Laia relaxing with Kurt who is drinking with Redrick
"So you all seem to have been healed up well over the past days going by a good sign if you ask me" Redrick says taking a sip outbof his tankard
"Yeah to be honest i am suprised we actually....saved Tamrisil it feels like a dream in a way" Kurt says
"Yeah i never thought i actually be a true hero i thought i always be under Sorig and Miragons thumb always contracted to kill not really knowing who i am but here i am now with Raloran,Magun,and you Kurt" Laia says kissing his cheek and Kurt rubs his neck emberressed and Redrick laughs kinda red in his face
"So what does the future hold for you lot?" Redrick asks "not much hero work to do anymore sense you killed Sorig and that avatar of darkness" he says
"Well we were thinking tomarrow we would take the phantom crow and see if there are other countries out there we have seen some proof plus Mariki had some stuff on it back at his hideout" Kurt says rubbing his neck sipping his drink "i guess when we seen all thats out there we would return and see how Tamrisil changed" he says "what about you with Erin killed and no heir due to the the family being killed as well what will happen to Marron??" Kurt says and Redrick sighs
"Well as the second in command to Erins court and the leader of the azure blades i am to take the throne and appoint a new leader" Redrick says andKurt chuckles a bit
"You a king??" Kurt says jokingly
"Hey if i can lead your father i think i have some shot of running a country" Redrick says and Kurt smirks and looks down at his ale kinda saddening up "hey no frowns now you just defeated the monster that people feared for centuries now and a ancient evil that no one knew about lad" Redrick says
"I know i just wish......they were here to see me" kurt says
"Lad they are here to see you because no matter where you are there watching you from the sky" Redrick says and Kurt nods cheering up a bit. Just as he drinks down his ale they hear Raloran stumbling about and Raloran tries to climb up onto a chair and slips falling back to the ground and Magun still going strong drinking multiple people under the table
"Well i guess it's time to turn in Laia?" Kurt asks and sees shes passed out drunk to and sighs smiling and carries Laia over his shoulder and Cybel carries Raloran off back to the inns rooms and in Kurts and Laias room Kurt sets Laia on the bed and lays with her on the other side of the bed looking up at the cieling kinda in deep thought then Laia hugs him close and Kurt look at her and hugs her close falling asleep with Miles asleep by the bed. As the morning comes Kurt with Laia wake up seeing Raloran hung over walking and Magun asleep on the floor of the Tavern
"Frocking gods oi Magun wake up ya big lug we gotta get going Vanessa is getting the phantom crow ready for us and we got a big send off for us all!" He says and kicks Magun but hes not waking up "ah jeez you give a guy who drank nothing but fermented berries and shrock else they make in his tribe and tou think you can power house any type of ale" he says
"Hey give the big guy some slack besides you weren't exactly sober yourself last night" Kurt says
"Hey a guys gotta let loose but theres a difference between letting loose and falling on your ass and going out cold" Raloran says and kicks Magun again and Magun finally gets up awake groggy "there ya are come on the cities gonna be sending off soon for our trip" Raloran says and Kurt thinks a bit
"Hold up guys i.....want to say something first" Kurt says and the others look at him "i wanted to say.....thanks for sticking with me even during the whole ordeal with the avatar of shadows" he says "i know we all lost alot before meeting each other but im glad we all stuck it out through even the most hellish of things....as a team no doubt.....no not even as a team... as a family" kurt says smiling
"Yeah yeah and all that mushy shrock.......but you are right it feels good to actually....fit in somewhere now" Raloran says
"I am honored Kurt Urlwis by the title you have given me for that i will give my life to keep you and the others safe" Magun says and Laia hugs Kurt from behind
"Were a strange family.....but a family no less to be honest the first time i met you on that fateful night i thought you were some idiot trying to flirt but after traveling with you for so long i learned your still a idiot at times but even then.....you're my idiot" Laia says and Kurt smiles
"Now come on were gonna be late" Raloran says and they head out. Getting to the castle grounds the group sees Redrick the leaders and Mariki waiting for them and the azure blades from all across Tamrisil standing straight for them
"Finally you all came thought we be waiting here for hours" Vannessa says
"Hey show some respect Vanessa they did save us all from the shadowkin" Tarvon says
"Indeed they must have been still tired from it all i cannot blame them" Boris says
"Plus is it not in character of them to not be on time they are the blackguard company after all" Myvannavar says and Redrick steps up with Mariki and Redrick looks at the group then stand up straight professionally
"Blackguard company we cannot thank you enough for freeing us from the Curse of Sorig and bringing the light back to Tamrisil" Redrick says "we hope your.....phantom crow will take you far and wide so you may help others in need" he says
"And we hope that you stay safe among the new locals i have helped Vanessa programmed routes to other countries that my men are stationed if you need help find and contact them Laia and remember we protect the light in the shadows of our wakes wings" Mariki says getting upfront
"Thank you Mariki" Laia says and Kurt look at Redrick
"Hmph good luck running a whole country old man dont get to overworked" Kurt says snd Redrick laughs finding that funny and as a final goodbye Redrick and Kurt grabs each other forearm and hug each other and the group gets inside the phantom crow and start to take off flying into the mid day sky
"So.....where are we going first?" Raloran says sitting in the lounge room with the others as Kurt puts the crow on auto pilot
"Wherever the crow takes us" Kurt says
"Well it better be good full of riches and bounties to collect" Raloran says and Kurt nods relaxing smiling....the blackguard company known for there heroism and mercenary like personality has been formed not just as a group of freinds but a family.
