It turned out Irene's scooter just needed some tuning in. Seulgi found it amusing because it only looked like the scooter had not been use for a very long time but everything was still fine. Maybe Irene was just afraid to use it before and had the thought that it was not working anymore. Seulgi didn't have to make a fuss about it as to why Irene didn't try to check it before. She just changed the oil and refilled the gas for her new friend.

When they tried it Seulgi got the most rewarding feeling. For the first time she heard Irene laughed so loud. The small girl got nervous driving again the scooter like it was her first time. She couldn't help but laugh because Seulgi was just too terrified to do a back ride. She offered her a ride all the way to the train station. It felt Irene overcame something and her confidence got boosted. Seulgi asked her to drive slowly because she kept speeding up. The last thing she wanted was to get busted in an unfamiliar place.

Seulgi kept that happy image of Irene. She didn't think she would come across to another person in a lifetime. And she didn't know as well when she would be able to come and visit in Busan. She never heard from Irene. It had been 3 months but it was like just yesterday for her. She already sent out the photos to the given address. It was silly she kept one photo of Irene though she had the soft copy. She just continued her life in Seoul just how it was before. She didn't think Irene would look her up and ask for a help to get a job.

She would hang out with Jisoo when she had the time. She thought maybe it's about time to really move forward and welcome new people in her life. She had no expectation with Wendy anymore.

She was readying herself and turn off the laptop. When she noticed a parcel she set aside two days ago. It came from Canada. She wondered why would Wendy sent her something. Her birthday had already pass. She exhaled and fished her phone from her purse to send her former lover a message about the parcel. Fortunately this time Wendy read the message and called her. It took her by surprised because it would take her forever before Wendy picks up or worse checked her messages.

From the screen she could see that Wendy was still on her pjs. She missed her but she could just tell her about it. She felt bad that she disturbed Wendy from her sleep.

"Bear, how are you?" Wendy asked with a longing look.

Seulgi immediately looked away and pretended to be busy. "I am at work. I just remembered the parcel you sent me. What was that for?"

Wendy's brows furrowed trying to remember if she did send a parcel. "Right, I was cleaning my room. We're about to move in a nearer residence from my work area. I thought I gave you that already. That's from Mina. She asked me to keep it until you ask for it. Then I totally forgot all about it. When I went home."

"HOME" Wendy used to say that Seulgi was like her home. She could call a person a home when it's her. She would love to comment about it but stopped herself for doing so. All she wanted to know was what the parcel for.

"Mina? Lisa's friend from Japan?" She recalled the name. And glanced at the parcel.

"Yeah."

"Do you have an idea what's inside?"

"I didn't open it. Maybe Lisa's letter for you. I really don't know. I am really sorry that it took me forever to send that to you. It must be important, Bear."

She scoffed. "What else to expect? I don't even know if you know what's important or not these days." Seulgi said it bitterly. It offended Wendy but did not dwell on it. She knew she made Seulgi wait and expect from her. She should have known better since they dated for years and they had a strong foundation. "For a second I thought that's for Lisa. Since her birthday is around the corner." She added.
