"Hey, the girl with full bangs, what's your story?" The girl just gave her a timid smile. She tried to be friendly with the girl who seemed to be around her age. She only talks to strangers to kill the boredom since her cousin does not really talk that much. They were waiting in the lobby and trying to kill some time. The consultation room was still packed.
"Are you talking to me?" The blonde girl looked around checking if she was the one being asked. She's not from here but she knew their language pretty well. She speaks 5 languages but is more fluent in both English and Hangul. She learned Niponggo when she was just 7. Chinese Mandarin when she was 8 and lastly Thai being her supposed native language but seldom uses it.
"Yeah, no one else has full bangs in here. You sure stand out." She winked at her playfully.
"I have a name. Don't call me any names."
"Oh, why are you me giving so much attitude? I was just asking your story. I am not interested in knowing your name." She didn't like the way the foreign-looking girl answered.
"Who are you kid? And why are you bothering the patients?" The blonde girl snapped.
"I'm Minatozaki Sana. And this beautiful girl next to me is my cousin Myoui Mina. She's also sick just like you." The girl with full bangs observed the silent girl. She extended her hand to the silent girl and ignored Sana.
"Hi, I'm Lalisa Manoban. Call me Lisa. Are you here for a check-up too?" She has soft spot for people who are just like her.
The girl smiled slightly. "Hi, I'm Myoui Mina. I am sorry that my cousin here is bothering you. I promise to keep her quiet." She apologized on behalf of Sana.
"No worries Mina. Sana is fine. I am actually bored too." She sat between Mina and Sana. "How old are you?" Sana was still being ignored by Lisa.
"Are you interested in my cousin?" Sana scoffed. "She's sick and she does not have time to be in a relationship. Especially with someone who has a heart condition just like her." Mina wanted to pull her cousin's hair for being brutally vulgar. She wished Sana learned how to filter her thoughts becoming it comes out from her mouth.
"Sana..." Mina warned her to shut.
"I am not sick. I am perfectly fine. This is just a follow-up check-up. And besides, I am too young to be in a relationship. What made you think I am interested in dating?" Lisa replied to Sana savagely.
"Fine. I leave the two of you. Do you want some snacks, Minari?" She asked her cousin.
"Just bring me an orange juice please."
"Mine is a choco milk drink," Lisa said.
"Are you a kid? Besides I was not asking you."
"I am not. It is just my drink preference." Lisa wanted to piss Sana off. But refrained herself for the sake of Mina being nice to her. She hoped Sana got some bit of Mina's good attitude towards people.
Sana extended her hand, "I can't buy stuff for free. We are not even related." She waited for Lisa to get some money.
"Aish, such an annoying kid." She gave her some money. "Keep the change."
"Cool, I get you guys snacks. I'll be right back. Minari just wait for me, okay?"
When Sana was no longer around Lisa then talked to Mina. "I lied. I am sick again. I thought my illness was cured."
"Why did you lie?"
"I don't know. For someone who isn't in our shoes, it can be very difficult to explain."
