Don't Let Go
Chapter Four
I yawned stretching my back and turned over to my side. I opened one eye to find a sleeping god next to me. I grinned remembering the kiss we shared. No one has ever kissed me the way this man has, with such care and tenderness and though it got a little heated he stopped knowing that I wasn't ready and that's a first for me. Usually the guys I've hooked up with wanted to go further so I was the first one to stop it before it got out of control. I was a virgin, and I plan to stay one for a little longer.
I got out of the bed, grimacing at the awful coloured bed sheets that I was lying on. I slid on a plain red tank top that showed my lean stomach and a leather skirt that reached my mid-thigh. Just for good measure and so that my underwear won't show I put on black stockings. I walked into the bathroom and locked at my appearance in the mirror, I glossed my lips with a pink lip gloss and black eye liner and of course mascara. I tapped the edge of the sink while looking at myself, I groaned when I forgot to bring accessories from my backpack, I peeked out the bathroom to find that Mitch was still sleeping.
I took out black hoops and gold and silver bangles. I squealed when I felt hand on my hips and kisses on my neck. "You look good," Mitch said while pressing soft kisses along my neck to my shoulder. I turned my head slightly to give him better access; I let out a giggle when he bit my neck playfully when I didn't answer.
"Thanks." I said softly and turned around to place a kiss on his lips. "Go get dressed I want to go out today." He pouted when I didn't let him deepen the kiss. "Go. Hurry up. I shooed him away to the bathroom and he complied.
I hummed to the tunes of Bon Jovi and packed my cigarettes and lighter in my small purse along with money. I turned around when I heard the bathroom door open. Mitch looked good as always with blue jeans, navy shirt and combat boots. "Ready to go?" I asked while I was eyeing him. He grinned and nodded while grabbing the keys. We walked out of our room making sure it was locked as well as the windows, just in case someone tried to break in.
He grabbed my hand the butterflies in my stomach were undeniably there, I wonder if Mitch ever got butterflies when he was me. The thought made me giddy, I've never felt this way with anyone in my life it was frightening but at the same time I was glad that it was Mitch that made me feel these things.
"Come on, we better get to Sammi and Justin who knows what they're doing," Mitch said wiggling his eyebrows laughing at my horror-stricken expression at the thought of my best friend getting it on.
"Oh god, in that case I don't want to go to their suite," I said not wanting to walk into something that might implant an image that I don't want to think about.
"We have to face them sometime, Rose," he said laughing as if I was joking, I wasn't joking.
"You knock," I said pushing him toward their door. "Hurry up fatty, we don't have all day," I said when he didn't immediately knock on the door; he gave me a pointed look and hesitated before banging on their door.
"Open up! Rise and shine lovebirds!" He shouted before we were met with an already dressed Sammi and Justin looking a little flustered. I shook my head at the thought of what they were doing just moments before.
"We're up, calm down," Justin said glaring at Mitch who was trying to hold in the laughter waiting to come out. Sammi smiled shyly at me, who am I to judge her when Mitch and I were doing the same thing last night?
"So, was he any good?" I asked teasingly as we walked together down the stairs to the exit.
"We didn't have sex." I raised an eyebrow as she said this, knowing already that they didn't do anything.
"I meant kissing," I said lowly so the boys wouldn't hear, we were only a couple feet in front of them. I loved talking to Sammi, she was my best friend. She was there when I needed someone to talk to or someone to tell me it was going to OK.
"Wouldn't you like to know," I scrunched my face up in repulsion; I mean what the fuck is she talking about? I love her but she's so god damn confusing. And she thought I was the weird one.
"I don't actually," I stated shrugging my shoulders as we walked down the street towards the small coffee shop situated on the corner. As we walked tryout the door it dinged. We were immediately wafted with the smell of coffee beans, different cakes and body odour. I wrinkle my brow, not knowing quite where to sit, but instead opted for standing.
"We'll go find a table," Justin mumbled to us and walked to the small red booth at the end of the shop, Mitch following closely behind. They didn't even tell us what they wanted, I rolled my eyes. Idiots. "Go ask them what they want," I said leaning against the cool glass of the countertop waiting until Sammi was gone to start browsing the selection of cakes.
5 minutes later and I was still trying to choose whether I wanted red velvet cake or chocolate chip. "Justin wants a slice of cheesecake, Mitch want a coffee with two sugars and I'll have whatever you're having," Sammi said quickly, I nodded and ordered.
The person behind the counter was without a doubt a woman, maybe around 30 and was quite a large with red hair in a bun at the top of her head. She wore a bright smile on her face which I gladly returned. "That would be $22.75, love." She said in a cheery voice.
"No problem, thanks," I said smiling lightly handing her the money; I linked my arm with Sammi and we strolled back to where the boys were seated. "She was nice," I said lightly as we sat down.
"Who?" Mitch asked from across me looking at me attentively; I stared back with the same stare absorbing is masculine feature. He's so handsome. I looked at his hands. What I would do for him to use his hands for, to glide them down my body our bodies touching fiercely as he enter-
My erotic thoughts were cut short when Sammi hissed at me looking at me has if I had gone nuts. It was then I realised that I still haven't answered my hopefully, maybe, almost boyfriend his question.
"The lady at the counter," I said pointing to the front of the shop, where coincidently she was walking towards us, our orders in hands. I looked around the shop to find that no one other than us were here. I glanced at the clock to find it was only 8:30 in the morning.
"Here you go, darling's," we all smiled at her and said 'thanks,' I sipped my coffee and beamed at the wonderful taste, almost instantaneously waking me up. I turned my head to find the woman has yet to leave; I gave her a questioning look. "You are such cute couples," I blushed as did Sammi while the boys smirked at our reactions
"We're not together," we said at the same time, I looked at Sammi as she looked at me. The lady just laughed and mumbled something along the lines of 'not yet' I rolled my eyes. Crazy lady.
