Don't Let Go
Chapter Eight
I chuckled as Sammi and Justin were bickering, they were cute but slightly annoying sometimes they were either fighting or lovey dovey. Most bi-polar couple I've ever seen, that's for sure. We were currently in the car a couple hours in the trip and I was seriously going to pull my hair if they didn't stop talking.
You're probably wondering how they started fighting right. Well, half way through the trip nine o'clock to be exact we were eating in a little diner. It was cute with a white tiled floor and bright red and pink booths with see-through tables. I went to the bathroom and Sammi tagged along we also ordered for the boys and ourselves, when we got back Justin and Mitch being the sluts they are was flirting with two girls in the other booth. They were pretty, one with bright red hair and freckles wearing a leather skirt and ankle boots while the other one has blonde hair and brown eyes sporting a floral print dress.
Sammi being the jealous girl she was went ape shit. I swear I nearly pissed myself. Her cheeks were tinted pink and she was breathing heavier, clenching her fists. I tried to reason that maybe the girls were hitting on them and not the other way around. Don't get me wrong I was jealous as well but Mitch and I weren't together. She was having none of it though, she stormed out of the tiny diner, Justin tailing behind her and this is how it started. I was driving with Sammi in the passenger seat who was turned in her seat cussing at Justin and he was sitting there looking ashamed, I pitied him but didn't interfere.
I focused on the road and hummed along to a Led Zeppelin song. It was one of my favourites. Sammi turned around in her seat facing the road while puffing her cheeks, I rolled my eyes she's being overdramatic about the situation and I was getting annoyed. I poked her cheek lightly glancing at her, she slapped my finger away. I laughed lightly and did it again, this time she did nothing. I did it again but harder she suddenly grabbed my finger squeezing it tightly. "Would you cut it out," she hissed at me.
I pulled my finger away and put it to my chin pretending to think about it. "Nope," I said popping the 'p' and was going to do it again but she shot me a glare. "Are you on your period or something?" I asked bursting out laughing when she went red and yelled a 'no'. She's so easy to rile up, Justin has a ticking time bomb on his hand.
I hope he can handle her.
I cut the engine when we neared a bar, "Get out," I said. Sammi looked at me as if I was crazy. "Get out of the car," I repeated slowly. They can walk home if they're going to keep fighting.I gave Justin a pointed look.
"Why?" Sammi whisper-yelled at me still not stepping out of the car. I rolled my eyes at her. Really? She's acting like a child over this.
"You're being a little bitch," I stated she gaped at me, I continued anyway. "So what he was talking to girls, you talk to many guys and he doesn't complain, you know why?" I asked rhetorically. "Because he trusts you and you should trust him," I said leaning toward the window now.
They looked at each other and mumbled their apologies I nodded at them and started the engines again. "Good, now let's go," I said lightly, waiting for them to climb back in the car. I started driving until we reached a small apartment that looked good enough, it didn't look much bit it was a step up from the ones we passed.
We got our bags and opened one of the apartment door. "You and Justin will be sharing a room," I said pointing to Mitch. "Sammi and I will be a room." Thy nodded once, not daring to argue about the living arrangements.
"Be ready in an hour," I nodded at them and dragged Sammi with me.
"We are we going?" Sammi asked raising her eyebrow looking at me patiently as I opened one of the doors of the room. I chucked my bags on the beige coloured bed spread and turned to her smirking.
"We're getting drunk."
