The other Cullens somehow got to Arizona before Emilia, but she didn't care. Her main focus was getting her cousin home.

Emilia barely got the impala parked before she got out of the car and ran into the ballet studio. When she got in, Carlisle was checking Bella and Edward looked disgusted with himself.

She rushed over and kneeled beside her cousin, checking her breathing, pulse, and everything that Carlisle already had.
"Your hearing is better than mine, does everything sound like it should?" Emilia questioned.

"She's going to be fine." Carlisle responded.

"That's not what I asked Carlisle. Does everything sound like it should?"
"No, it doesn't." He sighed.
"We need to get her to the hospital, it's a few streets over. I can do a spell or something to stabilize her long enough so she doesn't die in transit."

"We have to call an ambulance, it's too risky to do it ourselves."

"We can't. If we do that, they could send the police too, let's not forget the fire department for the giant funeral pyre over there. The studio was closed, we're trespassing. I'd rather not have the entirety of Phoenix looking at my mugshot as a suspect of felony arson and attempted murder." Emilia tried to reason.

Anyone who was listening, knew she was right. There were only so many things they could charm their way out of.

"She's asking for you." Renée told Emilia as she entered the hospital's cafeteria.

"Okay." The teenager stood from her spot and went up to the room. She knocked on the open door and Bella looked up with a shy smile.

"Hey, Em." Bella said.

"Don't 'hey Em' me, I'm so mad at you right now. I was so worried, Charlie was a wreck not knowing if you were okay, Bella. You can't— you can't just take off like that after saying what you said."

"I know, okay? I'm sorry. I had to do it because—"

Emilia cut Bella off.
"I know exactly why you did it, but it doesn't take back the words that were said. Just please don't do it again. Please don't run off."

"I won't, I promise." They linked their pinkies, sealing the promise.
"Good, because that's a trip I never wanna go on again, especially with this outcome."

“I'm sorry. . .”
“I know. . .”

Guyyysssss get ready for a plot shift, coming soon! While I adore the Twilight saga as it is, despite how bad the movies were, I'm obviously changing a lot of stuff.

So, prepare thyself for madness.
