"She's out of her mind," Chrollo sighs to himself and stares at the wall opposite of him. He waited for her to show up, knowing she'd turn up at some point. He figured he might as well stay to make sure she was stable enough and before he could join her side, Chrollo felt strange. She was close with the chain user? It had been quite some time since his last encounter with the younger male, so he couldn't quite remember his name.

Deciding not to confront her, Chrollo left with a different attitude. He didn't necessarily like (F/n), so knowing that she and the chain user were acquainted gave him certain leverage that he didn't know he would need until now.

If she acts out again, I can threaten to kill him. Or... I could just kill him. Maybe I'll pay him a little visit.

On her way out, a chill runs through (F/n)'s veins. Had someone been watching her? Though it was a possibility, she knew she didn't have to worry. It was probably one of the other Spider's since everyone else was too scared to trespass. The Troupe didn't care much for trespassers since they could've been enemies. So when her chilly feeling went away, that confirmed her suspicions.

"I should just head straight home," (F/n) tells herself, "no need for detours tonight."

She kicks small pieces of rubble from her path and clutches her book to her chest. Maybe she would be able to read it when she got home? It wasn't like she had anything stopping her from doing so. Just as the thought crossed her mind, she immediately started thinking of Kurapika and a smile graced her lips.

Was she a fool for being in love with someone like him? Yes, she was. But she liked how it felt. It was a familiar feeling, but at the same time, she hadn't experienced it before.

But Chrollo was the one to tell her that loving someone only got in the way.

Just as (F/n) begins to step away from the building, the same, uneasy feeling drenches her like cold water. "Who the fuck?" She mutters to herself, but she doesn't make a move to call out to them. She was confident in her strength and if someone were to attack her, she'd be able to defend herself.

Or at least she thought so. Because when she turned to see who else was kicking the pebbles, her vision went black.

Kurapika nervously played with the sleeves of his black sweater as he sat on the steps that were outside of his home. It had been a few hours since his friends left and now he was left alone with his thoughts. He waited for (F/n) to walk down the sidewalk and maybe give him a small nod and say, "have a goodnight, Kurapika." But she hasn't, so why was he waiting-

"Hello, chain user. Mind if we have a small chat?" Said male's blood runs cold at the familiar voice and his jaw clenches. When he looks up, he locks eyes with the leader of the Phantom Troupe.

"Yes, I would mind," Kurapika spits out and stands from his seat. "How in the hell did you find out where I live?" The taller male gives him a smile. Not a kind expression in the slightest, but one that held so much malice that the hairs on the back of Kurapika's neck stiffened.

"Let's just say (F/n) has been a big help to both of us." The mention of (F/n) causes Kurapika's hands to clench into fists. Had she really betrayed him? But she wouldn't do that. There's a possibility.

"Don't worry, she hasn't exactly told me anything, but maybe watching you be killed will get her to come to her senses," Chrollo takes a step closer to the blond male and looks down at him. "So just come with me without making a fuss."

"What makes you think you have that'd I listen to you?" Kurapika's brown eyes turn scarlet and takes a step back. "I don't care what happens to (F/n)." That was a lie, he was worried sick about her now. Come to her senses? What the hell did he mean by that?

"You don't have a choice. You can come with me without a fight or I'll force you. Besides, you're the only thing that she seems to care about, so I'm sure she'd be upset to hear that you don't ca-"

"I'd rather fight then go with you willingly-" And he too was met with the uncomfortable feeling of nothingness.
