Hisoka's home was much nicer than (F/n) and Kurapika had expected. After the many years of knowing the magician, (F/n) realized she had never been to or inside the well-put-together house. The interior definitely matched his aesthetic which really wouldn't surprise anyone. "It's much honestly quite nice in here," she states bluntly and this causes Hisoka to chuckle, but he puts a hand on his chest dramatically. "Surely you didn't take me for a slob?" (F/n) only shrugs and gives him a sarcastic grin, "your words not mine."

The teasing didn't last and (F/n) attempts to help Kurapika to the couch as he definitely needed to rest, but Hisoka brings his hand up dismissively, "he can take the guest bed, I can assure you it's much more comfortable. And you, (F/n), can take mine." The young woman pulls a face and shakes her head, "I'd rather lay on hot coals."

Hisoka didn't take her words to heart as he led them to a tall, green door. "Over there is the bathroom," he points a slender finger towards another closed door, but this one was pale, almost white, pink, "there are towels and washcloths. I'll see if I have anything suitable for the two of you to wear. Get cleaned up and make yourselves comfortable."

He turns on his heel, entering a door at the end of the small hallway before shutting the door behind him softly. (F/n)'s attention was back on Kurapika, "he's right, you need to get washed up. Do you think you can do it or would you prefer that I help you?" She didn't have the slightest interest in seeing him naked, but she almost flushed at her words, "that's not what I meant, I-" Kurapika gives her a small smile and shakes his head, "I know, I know, but as long as you can get me to the bathroom, I should be fine bathing myself."

She only nods and keeps a firm arm around his waist, helping him to the door that Hisoka had pointed to previously. When she opens the door, she was surprised to see how spacious it was. The light automatically comes on when they enter, letting them get a good look around. A large mirror was resting above the marble sink while the toilet sat directly across from it. A standing shower with decorative tile was to the right while a hot tub was to the left and there was a cabinet that was fit snugly between the two.

Well, damn. Was all (F/n) could think as she studied the room. "What does this do?" She questions out loud and presses the button that was below the light switch. The light dims immediately before the hot tub illuminates in a dark red, causing her to grimace and she presses it again. Kurapika couldn't help but chuckle at her expression. This time the red light practically bounces to a nonexistent beat. "I don't even want to know why he has this." "Neither do I."

"Anyway, I'll be in the next room, so yell if you need me," (F/n) says and closes the bathroom door behind her, unsure of what to do now. Maybe she could bother Hisoka and ask him a few things. It couldn't hurt. Before she could knock on the door with her raised fist, the taller male opens it and smiles at her, causing her to take a step back. "Yes, (N/n)?" His face was clean and he was now wearing a baby-pink tank top and a pair of white sweatpants. He honestly looked good, but (F/n) didn't want that to distract her.

"I wanted to ask you something," she says as she crosses her arms, uncomfortable with his stare. No matter how he looked or the expression on his face, it always seemed like he was a careful predator watching his prey. It was enough to make anyone's skin crawl. "Would you like to come in?" There was something in his voice that made her wrinkle her nose, but she nods and he steps aside, allowing her to enter the room.

Hisoka's room wasn't as tidy as the rest of the house, but it was still put together and you can tell he put a lot of time into the interior. The only 'mess' was a pile of clean laundry waiting to be put away. "How have you been since we last talked?" Hisoka asks, making (F/n) realize that she let her mind stray.

"I've definitely had better days," she says bitterly, "I haven't wanted to kill Chrollo this badly before and I'm tempted to do it." This makes Hisoka scoff as he begins taking his bracelets and bands off, allowing them to drop onto the dresser with a small thump. "I recommend you don't. You'd be dead before you could step in front of him. Besides, get in line. He's mine. I've been waiting for the day."

"Yeah, yeah. I know, but I also know that I can handle myself just fine. I've gotten stronger since the last time we had a 'death match'. He's a threat and threats need to eliminated." The death match was when Chrollo and her decision to go head to head when she joked about becoming the next leader. Needless to say, she didn't win and ended up taking a trip to the infirmary for a 'car crash'.

"You're doing this all for a boy that you barely know. The same boy, if I might add, that killed people that you cared dearly about. You could go in there and easily kill him for revenge, but you're keeping him alive. Why?" (F/n) didn't know why, but being reminded of that pissed her off. She knew that the magician was trying to anger her and it was working. Hisoka was pinned to the wall next to one of the meaningful paintings that decorated his home.

He grinned widely at the upset woman. She was so close to him that he could smell every bit of her, but he wasn't intimidated by her at all. He was incredibly amused and jealous of how the blond captured her attention. (F/n) couldn't bring herself to hit or yell at him, so she just lays her head against him and she lets out an angry and frustrated sigh, "I'm just so fucking tired. I'm tired of losing people and I'm going to make sure I don't lose him."

Hisoka's mood changed as fast as (F/n)'s did and he wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her closer into a hug. "I'm exhausted. I like the way I live, but I can't leave the Troupe, Hisoka. I care about them even if they drive me absolutely mad, but if they're a threat to Kurapika, then they're a threat to me."

"I'll help you," Hisoka whispers and she lets out a deep breath, "just plan it out first, don't be stupid and rush into it." He places a kiss on the top of her head. Not an affectionate one, but one to let her know that he was there. As they pull away from each other, (F/n) steps away and rubs her upper arm before turning away. "Let me know when you have a plan." That was all she said while she moved to open the door, but Hisoka stops her.

"What was it that you were going to ask me?" She looks at him for a moment, contemplating whether or not she was given an answer and when she was satisfied that she had, (F/n) exits the room, leaving a once again, amused magician to his thoughts.
