She clutched him tighter as another thunder hit. They were in the den in the BB house and Teja was holding on to Karan for dear life. The rain started at around mid afternoon and even though they couldn't see it, they could definitely hear it. It started out as a drizzle and with time it has become madness. Karan and Teja were having some alone time in the den away from the others amidst the rain. Rajiv had thankfully brought them a blanket sometime earlier and they were cuddling on the sofa comfortable when the first thunder hit.

Teja moved closer to him and while the temperature dropped outside the den, it rose for them. Karan asked her if she wanted to go inside with the others. She shook her head no. They continued talking as the storm gradually gained power. When they decided to go inside they couldn't because the outside garden had started leaking and BB made an announcement and asked everyone to stay where they were. They settled back on the sofa and snuggled waiting for the rain to pass. When the next thunder hit, they knew it was big. Teja buried her face in his chest and he held her tighter. As soon as the thunder hit, the lights went out in the den. Teja started chanting and Karan looked outside the den to see the entire house had lost power. He went back to Teja and told her, "Baby it's just a power cut. I'm here" and hugged her tighter.

"You know there was a powercut when I was little and I was in the terrace. No one knew where I was and it took them hours to find me. I was so chotu Sunny. That's why I'm scared of the dark. I'm scared of being alone" Teja said in a shaky voice.

"Shhh baby, I'm here. You're not alone" Karan said in a comforting tone rubbing her shoulders. The drizzle from the rain started entering the den through the entrance and hit them where they were sitting. He pulled her to the other side of the den where it was more enclosed and there was more space for them to sit.

He made sure she was fully covered by the blanket and settle in hoping this storm would sail soon. She laid her head on his shoulders and linked her arm with his. They had dozed off when another thunder hit and Teja sat up straight. Karan looked at her in question. "It's okay Teju, lie back down. I'm here" he said sleepily pulling her back. She slapped his hands away and frowned at him. Karan was awake now and looked at her surprised. "What baby? Did you have a bad dream? Did I do something in the dream? Why did you hit me?"

"Because we are idiots" she said laughing now.

"Make sense Ladoo, What are you talking about?" he asked annoyed now.

"Mr.MasterMind, there's no power" she said hitting him on the chest again. He looked at her and his eyes widened as realization hit him. They looked up at the dead cameras together and Karan hit his forehead with his hands. Teja started laughing again and pointed towards the mics they were still wearing. Karan told her to keep quiet and removed her mic and then his and threw it out into the rain. He turned to her, his face giddy with happiness. They finally had Sahuliyat. Teja was also smiling her beautiful smile and they both just kept looking at each other.

"What should we do?" Teja asked him. "I don't know" Karan replied looking confused. They have both embarrassed BB by asking for Privacy more than once. Now that they finally had it, they didn't know what to do. Luckily another big thunder hit sending Teja back into Karan's arms. She was thinly dressed and had started shivering due to the cold. This time Karan didn't let her go after the thunder. He lifted her chin and even though they could barely see her, he knew her lips were slightly parted and she waiting him for him to lean down and close the distance. He obliged her and let their lips touch for the first time since they met each other. He didn't push and she didn't either. They just let their lips touch and savored the moment that was denied for so long. After half a minute, she moved her lips to take more and he happily joined her. He thought to himself, I couldn't have asked for a better first kiss. The rain in the background, nature providing us with this opportunity. Everyday something proved to him that this was meant to be. He was not a person who had believed in destiny. But if this was not destiny, what was it?
