Y/n's pov:

It's finally Friday. I'm super excited for the horror movie marathon at Susan's tonight. It's been my only motivation at this point.

Johnny was absent yesterday so I haven't seen him since the locker incident.

I walk into math class with Susan. I sit in my seat and take out my books. After a couple of minutes, I see Johnny enter the room. He looked pretty annoyed. I wonder why.

He sits next to me and takes his books out.
I want to say something but I have no idea what to say.
"Can I borrow pencil?" Johnny asks.
"Uh yeah sure...here." I say as I find and give him a pencil.
"Thanks." He says with a slight smile.
The teacher came in and started the class. As he talked I took some notes. He finally stopped rambling on about functions and gave us a worksheet.
"It's homework if you don't finish it in class."  He announced.

I straighten my back and start the worksheet. I hate homework more than anything so I'm gonna finish this thing.
As I go onto the last question, I check the clock at the back of the clsss to see what time it is. There's still 15 minutes left in class.

As I turn my head back to my paper i notice Johnny had his head down. I look down to see his eyes are closed. He's sleeping? In class?
Why is he so tired?

I felt like waking him up but he looked pretty annoyed earlier and I don't feel like pissing him off.

I finish up my worksheet and hand it in to the teacher. I take my seat and doodle on my notebook. I draw sub-zero from mortal kombat and that's when I hear Johnny speak up.
"Oh cmon scorpion is way better." He says pointing at my notebook.
I cant help but chuckle.
"Oh please! Scorpion is so overrated. Trust me-Sub zero is cooler." I say.
He laughs.
"That's a good one"  he says.
I smile.

The bell rang so I gathered my things and got up to leave the class. As I walk to bio, Susan joins me.

"Y/n- I wont be able to give you a ride home today. My cousin is borrowing my car so I'll go home with Bobby." "Don't worry I'll just ride with daniel" I say with a smile. Daniels bike has a super uncomfortable seat at the back but I can stand it.

We continue walking and Johnny runs up next to me.
"Hey" Johnny says.
"What's up" I say as I stop walking to look at him
"You wanna drop by the dojo later?" He asks
"What? Why?" I ask slightly confused
"Why not?" he says raising his brows, a smirk plays on his lips.
I smile at his words.
"What time is your training?"
"After school til 5:30." He replies
Before I can say anything Susan interrupts:
"Oh hey! Why don't you come to my place after- I'm throwing a movie marathon." Susan says with a smile as she nudges my shoulder.
Johnny moves his gaze from Susan to me and smiles.
"Sure. Meet me in the lot after class" Johnny says to me.
"See ya" I say and walk away with Susan.

School finally ended so I walk to the parking lot to find Johnny. He is already there standing next to his car, talking to Bobby.
"You ready?" Johnny asks as I approach him.
"Yeah." I say with a slight smile.
I have no idea why he wants me to go to his training session.
I guess I'll finally see what all the talk is about Cobra Kai.

Johnny opened the passenger door for me and I sat in my seat. He started the car and began driving.

"You seemed pretty tired earlier." I say while looking at Johnny.
He looked at me and slightly smiled.
"Well I've been training extra the last couple of days so I'm pretty beat." He replies looking back at the road.
"Oh." I reply.
"Yeah. Sensei got me a new training buddy so it's not all that bad" He says.
I nod my head.

A few more minutes passed and we finally got to the dojo.

We got out of the car and walked inside. I see a bunch of pictures. One of which is of "John Kreese". I'm guessing this is their Sensei. By the looks of his picture, he fought in the military.
