The announcer begins to yell into the microphone.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen, this is the moment we've been waiting for!" He exclaims.
I watch as Johnny plasters a smile.
He has his hands folded- something I never thought would look so sexy.
God what is wrong with me?!
Before the announcer can finish, Ali runs up to the stage.
She whispers to the announcer.
"Daniel Larusso is gonna fight?"
She nods.
"Daniel Larusso is gonna fight!" The announcer exclaims into the mic.
Johnny turns to Daniel, confused.
I pretty much do the same.
Is it wrong that I'm happy he's back in the game?
God it feels like we're in a movie.
Johnny and Daniel have been at each other's backs ever since they met and now... now they're fighting at an actual karate tournament?
Daniel has a distinct limp which makes me cringe at the sight.
I hope he's okay.
"Face me. Bow."
The two follow his instructions.
"Face off. Bow."
The two bow to each other.
"Ready? Fight!" The ref yells.
Johnny begins to strike first.
Every kick and punch he throws, Daniel blocks.
Daniel eventually lands a punch to Johnnys stomach.
"One point, Daniel!" The ref yells.
Johnny angrily pushes Daniel away.
"Lawrence! Return!" The ref yells.
"You're dead." I hear Johnny mumble to Daniel.
Hot.
"One point Larusso." The ref confirms.
"Ready? Fight!"
Johnny moves to Daniel and pushes him to the floor, Daniel kicks him back and jumps to his feet.
"You got him this time Daniel! You got him!" Ali cheers.
Johnny tries to kick Daniel but Daniel quickly moves to trip Johnny.
Johnny falls to the floor and Daniel earns a point after hitting the back of Johnnys head.
"Point chop! That's two for Larusso."
Johnny stands up, holding his nose.
Is he okay? God! I can see blood!
"Time out! Time out!" The ref calls out.
"Go to your Sensei." The ref points to Kreese, leading Johnny out of the mat.
"Turn. Kneel." The ref directs Daniel.
Kreese wipes the blood from his nose and then says something to Johnny.
I watch as Johnnys body becomes stiff.
Kreese leans closer with a scowl mumbling some more words which I'm guessing aren't good.
Johnny shakes his head.
What are they talking about!?
Johnny gives Kreese an unsure look before heading back to the mat.
"That's 2 points Larusso. Lawrence, nothing." The ref calls out.
The match begins.
Johnny kicks Daniels leg causing him to the floor.
Oh boy. My stomach begins to churn.
"2-1 Larusso!" The ref yells.
