Y/n's POV:

It's Wednesday.

The tournament is today and I am feeling... well... I guess it doesn't really matter how I'm feeling since I'm not competing.

I mean- I am worried about what happens.

That's for sure.

If Johnny wins, then him and Daniel might not ever get along. What if that gets in the way of our relationship?

I mean, Johnny isn't as terrible as I thought like when I first met him. I understand where his rude words and asshole remarks come from.

If Daniel wins....well hopefully if he does, Johnny will respect him.
But what if Johnny hates him more if Daniel wins?

I have no idea what is going to happen- in terms of the tournament and after the tournament.

I walk into math class and sit at my desk.
I take out my books and read through yesterdays work.

"Hey babe." I hear Johnny say.

I giggle at the nickname.
He's never called me that before.

"What?" He asks with a laugh as he takes out his chair and sits down.

"Nothing- you just never called me that before." I smile.

"I haven't?" He asks nonchalantly.

I have a feeling he knows he hasn't.

"No." I smile.

"Is it okay if I call you that?" He asks in a tone I cant exactly read.
Is he shy?

"Whoah. Johnny Lawrence asking me if yet another one of his nicknames is okay?" I snort.

He doesn't reply, he just smiles shyly.

"I like it." I whisper.

The bell rings and I feel Johnnys foot kick me under the table.

As the teacher explains the lesson, me and Johnny continue to kick each other's feet. Surprisingly, this isn't the first time.

I try to write down some notes at the same time so I don't fall behind.

"Alright guys. That's all for today. I'll let you work on your homework for the remainder of class." The teacher announces.

I stop kicking Johnny and he stops as well.

He pushes his chair closer to me and he leans to my ear.

"I wanna play last nights game now." He whispers.

I giggle.

"Please?" He whispers.

I look at him with a smile.
He's smirking.

"Nope." I smirk back.

"Cmon Y/L/N. What do you have to lose?" He chuckles.

"Shut up Johnny." I roll my eyes playfully.

We bicker and finish our homework and soon enough the bell rings.

We walk out of class and find Susan and Bobby talking next to the door.

"Hey." Susan and Bobby say at the same time with big smiles.

"Hey." I laugh.

"I'll see you at lunch?" I ask Johnny.

"Yeah okay." He nods and kisses my cheek before walking to his next class with Bobby.
