This is a valentines day themed chapter between the two main characters of this book (Y/n and Johnny) that I thought of and wanted to share with you guys for Valentine's Day.
This chapter was meant to be published later on when it's actually Valentine's Day in the fake timeline in the book but I'm publishing it now for the real life Valentine's Day so you can all enjoy it ;)
This takes place on February 14th, 1985

Y/n's POV:
God my feet hurt.
I went shopping with Susan and Barbara hoping to find something, anything for Johnny since it's Valentine's Day tomorrow.
Now I know how cheesy it is to do something for this stupid retail holiday. But I thought it'd be nice for us to do something together, just the two of us.
I wanted to get something for Johnny.
But I couldn't find a single thing that he would like.
I even went to a record store after going to the mall.
Other than nerdy figurines and albums I know Johnny already has, I had nothing.
"Let's just go to Walmart. You can never go wrong with chocolate." Susan chuckles, wrapping her arm around my shoulders.
"Fine." I sigh, disappointed.
We drove to Walmart and I picked up a heart shaped box with chocolates.
"This is so bad." I groan.
"Cmon! It's fine. You both can laugh about it." Susan smiles.
"I guess."
"You have lingerie right?" Barbara asks.
"Oh yeah you'll need that." Susan nods.
"Oh god." I mumble and walk to a cash register.
As I'm paying, Susan and Barbara follow behind me like little children.
"Are you through?" I ask with a huff.
"Yes. We're sorry." Susan smiles.
"Look on the bright side. Johnnys probably planned the perfect night for you two so you don't have to worry." Barbara adds.
"Okay... okay. Let's get home. I need to finish my homework." I assure myself.
"Alright! Me too." Susan nods.

Thursday (Valentines Day)
I sat in my usual seat in math. I keep eyeing my bag. I kept the chocolates in there and they better not melt. It's really hot today, which is so random.
Johnny isn't here yet but then again, he likes to come a little late to class. He usually drives me but Susan insisted she drove me to school with Barbara and Ali. We haven't really spent much time together.
As the class continues in conversation, I place my head on the desk, my arms supporting my weight.
After a while, I feel a hand brush through my hair and I sit up straight.
"Hey." Johnny smiles.
"Hey." I notice Johnny is wearing a white tshirt and light blue shorts.
He sits down on the seat next to mine.
I wanted to say happy Valentine's Day to him but before I could even open my mouth, the damn teacher spoke up.
