Rivet woke up, realizing for the first time in quite awhile she got some real sleep for a change. It took her a moment to get her bearings as she looked around confused, and then remembered. She was on the Ardolis Pirate Base still. She sat up and grabbed her gear, and went towards Phantom's quarters. She knocked and waited briefly, and then knocked again. "Oh mon petite Riiiivet!~" Rivet at that moment hit her head on the door out of frustration. "Not this again..." She sighed and put a smile on her face, turning towards Pierre. "Weeeeell! What brings you here Pierre?!" Pierre wasn't amused, as he could smell sarcasm a mile away.

"Oh Rivet, why do you insist on playing with my heart?!" She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "You -can't- be serious." She said, being more serious about it. Pierre as always looked offended. "My dear Rivet please~ we are allies! We should at least -pretend- we are in the same bed together, no?" She glared, unamused by the whole thing. "Allies? Sure. Sharing beds? Not in your lifetime... Now where is Phantom?" Pierre crossed his arms, probably another little game for him. "Tell me Pierre, now." She demanded sternly. "Ugh, fiiine. Take all the fun out of it mon Cheri. He is in the main room, most likely waiting for this beautiful petite one I know~" Rivet sighed, even if a little flattered in some way, she walked off without another word.

Rivet went on to meet Phantom, who was pretty happy with the Alliance. But not comfortable. They were, after all, pirates. It was only a matter of time before they'd seize even Resistance cargo. Booty is booty, no matter what you get it. Rivet giggled to herself about that line, and Phantom caught on. He didn't really approve of that out of her though. He still thought of her as this really innocent and nice kid. But she grew up, nearly an adult even. Layden would easily have been proud of her sense of humor, albiet, until someone flirts with Rivet, like Pierre did. Although it wasn't understood exactly what fascination Pierre had for Rivet, it was clear she was what swayed him to say yes to this little Alliance. Can't exactly be picky these days. As Rivet and Phantom spoke, the conversation was stopped when the news was suddenly turned up.

"This is Dallas Wanamaker here with a surprising report. It appears that the galaxy-wide weapons and defensive technology experts from Gadetron have effectively used their security bots to declare open war on Emperor Nefarious. This may just be it ladies and gentlemen! Is this the start of something greater? Or could the galaxy go in even greater darkness over the coming weeks? We'll keep you all as updated as possible! Dallas out!" Rivet and Phantom looked at eachother astonished. Another opportunity had presented itself, and sooner than they had been prepared for. "A few pirate raids on a couple of Gadetron warehouses would give us all the weapons we need to start our Resistance!" Phantom, was not all that convinced of Rivet's sudden change of heart on the pirates. But he ignored it. It was after all their best chance at getting enough arms to supply an army.

With a gentle nod, he approved of Rivet getting up and taking charge, wondering if maybe, just maybe, she was leader material. If she was, she would easily take Layden's old spot. What he didn't realize, is that Rivet, would never take it. Rivet grabbed her gear and was too excited to let even Pierre spoil the fun, she had him get ships ready and that a distracted Gadetron was the perfect opportunity for a good supply run. Pierre kept flirting, but Rivet paid him no mind as she was dead set on getting what was needed to start the Resistance in full. And with that, they set out.

Kalebo City, Unknown Planet, Cerullean Sector, Rivet's POV.

As I and the Pirates landed, security wasn't as tight as it normally would be. "Looks like Gadetron was very serious about their war declaration. Hardly any security here. All their bots must be out fighting." I said with confidence. Pierre laughed, which was creepy and annoying to me. "We will plunder this place! And then, I'll have time for you my dear Rivet." I looked over at Pierre and sighed. Again, he was doing this again? Now? I shook my head and went on, wandering and looking until I found an entrance that seemed to be the least gaurded, and I waved over Pierre and the others. By this point, we were ready. If we failed here, then the Rebellion would end before it even began. We have to fight Nefarious and with everything we have, because the alternative... Is not pleasant...

(No Character POV)

Phantom was with another group of pirates. They were all awaiting Rivet's signal. He smiled at the thought. Rivet's signal. She organized pretty much this whole thing. Her brother would be extremely proud. Phantom couldn't think about that fact long, the signal had been given, everyone was ready. The raiding had begun. Rather than destroy the security bots, the Resistance had used a pulse generator to knock most of them out. Any that were out of ranger, weren't even a threat. The pirates began loading up everything they could onto their ships, one large crate at a time. No other security bots came, the Resistance had enough arms and ammo to supply them for years, as well as a decent amount of untraceable communications arrays. Rivet looked up in the sky, and saw Phantom give her a thumbs up. The smirk she gave Phantom screamed confidence, and Phantom couldn't be happier with the results of the last several days.

He had helped Rivet get over her survivor's guilt, her lack of confidence. Together they made an unlikely alliance with pirates and took enough supplies to build a real Resistance. As it stands, it could go either way, but Rivet, Phantom, and yes even Pierre knew this was the start of something good. Some pirates disliked this alliance. But all of them hated Nefarious more, and they were willing to take any goal aimed at his destruction. The pirates were more than willing to die with those trying rather than give in. In Rivet's eyes the galaxy had to be shown they could fight, no matter what. The galaxy would soon have it's eyes on her. Then again... So would the Emperor.
