Chapter 4 : he is the same as me?

Ian is shocked when Qing said something cruel in front of him, but Qing didn't care, Qing know that attitude isn't the original Melissa at all, so he had a guess that Melissa is same as him. He then start to escort Melissa to the door, didn't even look at his brother, Qing then again apologize and hand in a letter to Melissa. He said after she went home she need to read the letter and she'll understand him, Melissa took the letter and thank him then went into the carriage. Melissa was in silent thought and she decided she'll assassinate him. That was the Melissa have made after much deliberation, Melissa didn't just decide this just because of lingering resentment. She was insulted by my own fiancé, if Qing didn't suddenly appear out of nowhere, she would have been dragged out of the imperial palace but still...just think about what would happen if a guy like him ascended the throne! The empire would fall into ruins! Ian probably worst at politics too, then face the citizen and will cause utter chaos! As of now, the crown prince is too far gone to redeem himself! Melissa thought with a dark face 'as expected, assassination is the only answer, It's the only way!'
Melissa then hold the letter in her hand and thought 'speaking of Qing, now that I think about it, I don't remember Ian has a twin brother in the novel. And to be honest, if the empire needs a fitting ruler, Qing is better than Ian. He at least respect me and given me an apology then slap his own brother at that!'
Melissa thought seriously 'but now this isn't the point, alright, so where and how should I hire someone? Since my target is the crown prince, I've got to be extra careful.'

Before she could think any longer, the carriage stop when they arrived the duke's estate. The driver then get off the horse, and open the door to tell her that they arrived.

The driver said "my lady, we've arrive-"
Melissa whisper in a sinister voice which the driver hear it "I have to slice them off."
The driver want to believe he misheard it "pardon?"

Melissa hear a sound and saw the estate and shocked "huh? When did we arrive?"
Melissa step down the carriage and said "oh my~ I hadn't realized we'd arrive!"

Melissa saw his hands were shaking a lots, then the driver tell her that she shouldn't recklessly cut off body parts, Melissa then thought that the driver was worried about her. She thought that he won't be the one suffering at her hand, so she want to give him a smile of reassuring him, but the smile turn into an sinister smile on her face. The driver thought he is done,

The driver shout and begging her "I-I HAVE A WIFE AND A PET THAT I TREASURE LIKE MY OWN DAUGHTER!!! PLEASE SPARE ME! I'M SORRY!!"
Melissa was dumbfounded 'all I did is was smile at him...'

Melissa went to her room first with her maid Yona, then open the letter that Qing had sent. Yona take a look and was dumbfounded as well as Melissa, because the letter is a poet. Melissa didn't understand but try to see what it was written.

The letter written 'Time like a present the moment to spare, Is like four season went and go, Meaning of life that going forwards, Eternal is the unthinkable, Try to understand, Right at time and path, Anger is no need to be seen, Veiled bride in the garden, Ending is yours,Let the bird fly and high, Ethereal and gentle, Right above the sun.'

Melissa wondered 'what the? Just what is he trying to say? This is gonna get my head aching.'
Yona said with a blink face "my lady, you don't know that the first letter is the first clue?"

Melissa then saw each sentences had the first letter being underlined, when Melissa combined those letter. Then saw the word were 'time traveler' Melissa couldn't believe what she was seeing, then she started to realized that Qing is also a time traveler, it made clear to her since Qing isn't a part of the novel and he was polite to her. It seem like Melissa has found an ally who had the same situation as her, she need to meet him again since they didn't get a good talk with each other. But first she need to his father, she went to office where his father is. She knocked on the door,

Melissa asked him "could you lend me some of your time?"

The duke nodded as a yes, stand up and went in front of her,

Melissa thought feeling troublesome 'ah, I swear...I'm pretty tall myself, but whenever I look up at this guy, my neck gets stiff. How tall is he exactly?'
